if you can move those switches on the wall over you might want to add a column of cabinets from floor to ceiling right next to the door of the kitchen, you could really use the extra storage.
If it was my kitchen, I would look into removing the top half of that back kitchen wall, if is just a partition wall, and put another kitchen work surface in there to match the rest of them - it would give you a lot more work space, which it looks like you may need, and also brighten up that dark corner of the apartment. Maybe get a couple of stools and use it as a breakfast bar perhaps. Anyway, just a thought. Love the vlogs xx

Why not a large clock on the kitchen wall...either a black, rustic one or one of those mirrored stick on ones?
I know others have already explained what Groundhog Day is, but yes the phrase “it’s like Groundhog Day” came from the film in which he kept waking up on feb. 2nd. So without the movie it wouldn’t have any meaning of repetition
I would put a freestanding white shelf unit of about 1.5 metres in height on the first part of the wall. The struts could be silver to match the rest of your apartment. If you found it too intrusive it would be easily rid of.
A nice DIY magnetic spice rack would look lovely on the kitchen wall and some nice wall art/transfer like Nick suggested 😀

Why don't you put the shelves that you had where the cupboards are now, staggered? Or hand a thin pan rack from ceiling for pans to hang down the wall. You could put two pictures up that have a kitchen theme to them with the accent colours of the apartment in them., therefore they wont stick out and add some colour in that kitchen .

I still think the shelves would look lovely just as you go into the kitchen, the 22cm depth ones might suit the space instead of the 30cm (I don't know what depth you bought originally though).. I'm sure you will make the space lovely whatever you decide to do.

Nick, in the kitchen, it wouldit be possible to to run 1 long sheve (in 2 pieces) and copy miter the angle of the wall to join the 2 pieces in the middle :-)
Why don't you get a big calendar? In kitchen for holidays or things to do? To cover holes
Stainless steel shelves to tie in with the splash backs and upstands.
Have you thought of putting corner shelves above the bin? This will allow the kitchen to remain looking open but also provide more storage??

Seeing the snow takes me back to my childhood when I could write my name in the snow and relieve myself at the same time, I dont do that anymore!
By the way, Groundhog Day derives from the Pennsylvania Dutch superstition that if a groundhog emerging from its burrow on this day sees its shadow due to clear weather, it will retreat to its den and winter will persist for six more weeks; but if it does not see its shadow because of cloudiness, spring will arrive early. ... This year he did see his shadow so six more weeks of winter weather 🤣
Just a suggestion about your kitchen wall.The Gift Company and others sell Disney phrases on canvas which would look really good with the colour of your kitchen and a nice reminder of one of your favourite places.Don't stop the vlogs,we look forward to 6pm every day to see you both.x
Sorry to say I have not found any good Hershey’s chocolate in the US, all tastes like wax. Our fridge is full of Cadbury Chocolate, yes fridge :-)
I actually ordered a single serving brewing cup and used it yesterday with one of those teas I won in a giveaway from you way back when, and it worked great! As for Groundhog Day, it goes back a long time: supposedly when the groundhog comes out on February 2, if it sees its shadow, that means there will be six more weeks of winter, and if it doesn’t see its shadow, spring will be early. According to Wikipedia, it comes from the German tradition of Candlemas, which is also on February 2.

We got hacked last year loads of times that was threw Amazon as well, he has to change bank cards and passwords four times in 3 months and was robbed of over £600 we got it all back but it’s really annoying
The poor Groundhog does not come out alone he is dragged out and if he sees his own shadow Winter will continue for another 6 weeks, if not it’s an early spring

Few years ago me and Owen's joint account was hacked the week my redundancy money went in!!! Its was Owen's card for here the funny part expensive shampoo 🤣 and when I rang the bank where like are you sure Owen's not in America I was like yes he just left for work hes not in America 😒 thank god we got the money back.
The banks are very good at getting the money back quick. Just annoying that people are sat out there trying to do this instead of doing something to earn themselves money instead

Has anyone purchased that same candle lighter? It’s a great idea but our dogs and even kids can’t take the sound it emits. Apparently it’s a frequency that bothers their hearing but not adults.

Most my friends have ps4. I prefer xbox but no one I know has one
