I think I'll keep digging down this rabbit hole.. still would like to hear their language in song regardless.

And it is a way to support a refugee musician & help preserve Ukrainian culture. Please, if you can afford to, hire him for many minutes & tip him well. He is on fiverr as "kazantsev" and his gigs are "I will record professional russian balalaika for your project" and "I will record professional ukulele track for your song or a project". He might take longer than planned, his schedule is not under his control. But you will love the results.
