If you want to know how much progress I made on Osana over the past 2 weeks, click here: yanderedev.wordpress.com/2017/02/02/does-yandere-simulator-really-need-a-small-town/
+Ich Nicht 49 I believe, plus they are against the *small town* and not the street so part time jobs will most likely be a thing, I'm not so sure about sabotaging dates though...
@@phantominway you can not say that is really love, if not that you need it just to feel complete, you do not necessarily have to love it, yandere dev says it in a video also srry for my bad english
what if yanderedev just put a couple of locations? there could be a bus stop just outside the school where you can choose places, like "senpai's favorite coffee shop" or "maid cafe".
That's actually pretty smart. Maybe instead of having the actual town it could be like what he showed! You can't ride around the town but there are areas you can go to or maybe even unlock. Maybe even some minigames. Such as in the maid cafe, you okay a short game where you have to serve maybe a few customers, and the style is in like pixel art or something like diner rush or something!
This is amazing - this could work so well! It'll mean yanderedenv doesn't have to design a whole street and the outside of the stores then, just the inside
Miko-chan it's not simply about murder. it's yandere simulator not killer simulator. simply means that yandere chan will do anything to get senpai. doesn't have to be necessarily violence. there are ways to get to your goal without that
Little Weiner with a whole team of people working on it. Remember, yandere Dev in ONE person. He has a few volunteers but that's it. It takes him a long time to create code for the game.
ollieisfab yes but once the crowd funding succeeds, which it will the game is waaaay too popular, he can hire a professional team. dramatically reducing the ammount of time it takes
I believe a small street and online orders would be nice. Maybe the player is a shy yandere or an outgoing yandere. Having both would provide some playing flexibility as you can play events over the weekend and purchase items after hours.
Yandere - Craft same, i would much rather just a small street so its easier to work on and doesnt have to be super complex! The town would take too long a d its just another feature that doesnt really need to be in tye game but it can be so a street would awesome!
strawberry queen that's a good idea, it's a kinda boring being in just one season per environment still it would be cool for the single street, it is the first game so I think take a small step at a time.
Adding an entire town, I think, would be a pretty suicidal idea without having additional hands to aid the development. Adding Cafe's, stores, school supply shop, etc would be far more feasible, given the resources at hand. For simple job-minigames, looking at the Tales series (particularly, Tales of the Abyss) can provide some easy-to-implement ideas. Heck, I liked the shop minigame in PS1's Digimon World, where it could be implemented into a school supply shop. Adding areas like a deserted warehouse (during sunset) could provide a very nice climatic feel to the game's later rivals, making the player aware of the scope of their actions, and adding significance to such a kill. Taking inspiration from Death Note, Megami could purchase said warehouse where the potential climax of the game would take place. Not sure if you read comments from videos this old, but I do hope that I provided at least a moment of thought, if nothing else.
Elizabeth Mitchell Exactly what I was thinking. He could even add extra side streets if the game warranted it, for more atmosphere. Cut down on cost of a full town, and get a similar effect.
Still I think I would like a false immersion that it's bigger. It would kinda be funny if there was an excuse everyday/week/period of time on why you can't go into the town this way. Maybe something like digging up a discovered fossil for a week and then the next week is the road being filled up with road tar after the fossil digging. In fact that could allow for some unique time sensitive items for killing or other stuffs. That would allow the world to feel immersive and a bit bigger while adding some hilarity to it, like a running gag.
Lord Voldemort Agreed. While it doesn't provide as many opportunities for sabotage or disposal, it's a solution that combines efficiency effectiveness. Persona 4 was a great example to use to show this as many things take place there in the shopping district (a single street)
For fans of Yandere Simulator and/or Yandere Dev; I already put my votes in the pole, but if you do end up putting in a small town/one street then maybe yandere Chan could get a job at (like you said) a maid cafe. And one day while she works, senpai and the rival go on a date, at the same cafe! This could give players a chance to ruin the date, like using rat poison ((from the storage closet or kitchen to get rid of rats)) to poison the rival's food or drink. This is just a suggestion, I completely understand if you don't agree with it.
Wouldn't it be interesting if the new elimination method for Osana had something to do with the town that he talks about in this video. When Osana goes to the movies with Senpai you can be there and sabotage it.
I think a single street / online orders would be nice. The part-time job feature would actually be a really nice addition! It could also be a way to increase skills. You may only be able to fit murder schemes and homework into the weekend, though, so it wouldn't be completely overpowered. It could also be a better alternative then just completely skipping weekends in the game. As an example, say you are able to work at a maid cafe, and you choose what to focus on during your job. If you act clumsy/cutesy, perhaps you could increase your seduction a little. Or, perhaps seeing the girls there gives you the idea to trip and pretend to spill liquid on someone accidentally (that bucket murder explanation). With all things considered, a simple street or even just looking for work online would be sufficient to adding more depth and environment to the game. A simple minigame would be fine for part-time work. It would be silly to spend a year on an "extra feature" of the game. I hope you take my ideas into consideration and sorry for the lengthy comment. Have a nice rest of your day!
I totally agree. A single street is enough and would contain enough room for a part-time job and other features. You could even combine the responsibility of working at the maid cafe with the selfish ambition of sabotaging senpei's dates. Meaning you either do your job and use the money to buy needed items or you act clumsy and spill something over senpei's company, stopping the date because she's going home to change her clothes; but in turn you lose your much needed money and have to get more inventive in the weeks to come.
The single street idea is great. To add on to other suggestions, you can have certain students show up at the street at a certain time and day (better than rendering everyone and their routines on a small town) and maybe eavesdrop on a conversation and learn the students' opinion on certain topics. You can also make time management more important such as having shops open at certain hours. In essence the idea of using streets can lead to many more ideas while taking less development time as compared to a small town. A second or third street can also be added in the future without changing the game too much (new shops selling cosmetics? different weapons?) and students' routes can easily be revised (Student 1 goes to street X at 6pm after school, then to street Y at 7pm, etc). These are just ideas I had and I feel that having this system could allow new mechanics to be implemented into the game which can be explained by events that happened on the street (new shop opening, etc)
what if, you add both online shopping and physical shops so the player cab buy things both ways (add a deep web where they can buy things like guns and drugs)
Hey yanderedev I think maybe you could mix the part time jobs with sabotaging your rivels date. You could have yandere chan let’s say working at a restaurant, you could have a mini game on food poisoning your rivels food so they would end the date early. But you can have witnesses like the staff so you would have to be stealthy in order to food poison a rivel. (Sorry for bad spelling/grammar)
A small town would be nice, but saying that, it depends on when you think the game should come out and how much time you are willing to spend on something like that. I would like a small town or street but please yandere dev, take your time. I think implementing a small town would really bring something exciting to the game and more adventure. A street would also bring something nice into the game and would still keep the school as the major part. All that matters is if you want to do it and are happy with the final result of the game. Town or no town, I think that this game will be great no matter what.
abbey lowe I agree, a small town would add a lot of excitement to the game. But if Yandere Development is not happy with the final results then he shouldn't add the street or small town. I like where he is getting to a part time job would really want me and my friends not just order online.
I have an idea! What about you being able to pickpocket girls at school, and steal their money/credit cards? That way Yandere Chan can make easy money!
Unless only a certain someone who's doing sexual pleasure is the only one with this money and everyone else has a low amount of money just to pay for lunch and you can only do it on a certain day because she only does it that one last time maybe? Then again I don't think Yan dev is capable of doing that tbh
the polls are bit confusing im pretty sure the one street thing will be implemented into the game. people are saying a whole town isnt needed for the game to be enjoyable. but they are also saying they want to by things from stores(not online.)
Well, first off telling a young kid to kill themselves is a really horrid thing to do. I know that a kid shouldn't watch this kind of content, but that's their parent's problem. Also, I could see where MC Slayer was coming from. I would have expected the first question to be different from how Yandere Dev worded everything since he didn't just state the street option in the first poll. Also, I know that responding is probably an idiotic thing to do since you probably get enjoyment out of coming up with comebacks, but this is seriously my last reply. MC Slayer just know that for every sadistic jerk that hides behind a screen, there is someone who cares about what that impact could do to the victim.
@Snow White (AKA Ariella) "Also, I know that responding is probably an idiotic thing to do since you probably get enjoyment out of coming up with comebacks, but this is seriously my last reply." Yes, it is a bad idea, because I get enjoyment out of this HILARIOUS thread of replies saying "OH NOOOO YOU SHOULDN'T SAY THAT, HE MIGHT ACTUALLY DO IT!!" Which my reply is: Don't fucking care, his problem, not mine, because if he wants to do it, his life is probably shit, if it's not, it's inconsiderate of those who love him. So it's a lose/lose either way. I've thought about suicide, my parents have cancer. Do I want sympathy? Fuck nope. Because I believe that you shouldn't care about one person, then not care about the MILLIONS of other people that have a shit life. I'd rather not get caught up in it. Anyway all that bullshit that you most likely don't care about(Note: Don't even FUCKING say "Oh, well I'm sorry about the cancer thing" or something like that because for fucks sake. Because cancer can most likely be removed if you try hard enough, it's not as bad as people make it out to be, LITERALLY 5 of my family members got rid of it in the past 2 years, none died)
I would personally be fine waiting a few months but probably not an entire year So I am very much for adding a small street, with stores cafés and maybe even bars Like if you agree
I Draw Stuff yandere dev is been making osana for almost a year and how much more time will you think the other rivals will take? and a small town have pity on him geez
Maybe it could have the mini-game from the nurse/gardening club on it? And if you get caught by someone then you get sent to the guidance counselor? that'd be cool.
In my opinion, I don't think that not adding the town will make the game itself boring, but adding it will help the game gain a bigger following due to more being in the game and a bigger sense of freedom. The only minor setback to this is the amount of time it will take to add this into the game, and it will depend on whether the community will have patience with the extra time needed, kind of like how companies like rockstar delay their games. With the way things are going, the size of the yandere simulator fanbase/community shouldn't allow it to lose a following, and adding a small town will interest a lot more people to try it and enjoy it. I personally love the direction the game is going, and I think a small town will be a great thing thing to add to the development of the game.
the street definitely. it sounds like a cute, simple idea. I like it. I wouldn't do the town. the street sounds just fine! it would also make pose mode even more fun. OOOOR You could just put some of those things in yan-chans house, and add more to go to in there. Another option could be optional field trips that the school has afterschool for clubs. Those places could have similar things as well. OOOOR lastly add a small school shop inside the cafeteria area.
I honestly think that, if he is going with the street idea, he should make it 2D and point-and-click. The different style would make it cheap, quick and easy to make, while enabling it to be more detailed. It also would create a different setting from the school, while being more in line with the styles of the 2D games.
NMH is one of my favorite games too lol. I think a single street would be sufficient enough, a small town is simply too much work. 2D minigames as sidejobs would be very refreshing actually.
I think the street is awsome, and if you do do it, I think you should have citizens and police officers, and a call box thing where you could order things or call people to borrow things and a small, hard to see alleyway where you can buy actual weapons and poisons from a guy for money and mabye for favors such as befriending and killing a certain citizen. There can also be an illegal fight club, where you can fight for money in the alleyway.
Maybe info-chan can have her own shop as dry-cleaning and wash your bloody clothing and when you come to the shop she also should have an option to give you money for panty shots!!
➡The girl who got inspired by Kokona that's an actress, I have an idea for her. Once Senpai and her get along, Senpai gets invited to her play. If there was a small town, Yandere-Chan would be able to sabotage her play by dropping on of the weights on her cause a dramatic death. Or if Yandere-Chan gets in charge of lighting, she'll be able to turn off the spotlight anx get a stealthy kill with only a slight chance of getting caught⬅ Like if you agree ♥
Keziah Galan Backstage management (like lighting and props) can also be a good part time job for yandere-chan, and on her free time (the time where shes still at work but not doing anything atm) she can sabotage the play.
I love the idea of there being a small town, and I think that having a single very busy street would also be a great idea. Part of me feels as if there should be _multiple_ ways of earning money. Perhaps Yan-chan's parents give her an allowance, but it's a very measly allowance and would best be supplemented by having a part-time job. I think there should be multiple jobs available. The maid café, of course, but perhaps other jobs as well--some with mini-games, and some without (mini-gamed jobs would earn more than non-mini-gamed jobs). Some jobs would be jobs that you would need to go to on a regular basis (much like a real part-time job), while others jobs could be more of a one-time deal or a "do it when you want/need" type of job. Examples for jobs could include running errands (whether it be for random people or whether she has a main employer[s]), being a hitman (perhaps on non-students?), working in a library or bookshop (more likely to see Senpai [as we all know his love for books]), performing odd-jobs, etc. While I think that a single street (with lots of buildings, doors, alleyways, stories/levels, stores, hang-out areas, etc.) could accomplish this, I also think that a bus-stop or subway system could/should be implemented as well. With a bus-stop, Yan-chan would be able to go to places that aren't on the main street, including (for example) Yan-chan's home, Senpai's house, the houses of classmates/rivals, certain job sites, certain dumping sites, as well as a beach/body of water. Perhaps, whether it be on the main street or a bus-stop location, there could be a church that acts in a similar way that the turtle currently does ("Forgive sins") and even certain other actions/interactions and whatnot.
Gamer The Fox Yandere-dev has explained that everything is subject to change. Besides, you can still send money from overseas, or they could have given her a set amount in the bank that she is allowed to access weekly, or maybe they gave her a lump sum of money and told her to make it last and she's just very good at budgeting.
Rayann Midkiff YOU SHOHLD POST THIS ON YANDERE DEVS WEBSITE PLZZZZZ! HE FOESN'T RRAD COMMENTS THAT OFTEN SO HE IS MORE LIKELY TO SEE THIS GREAT IDEAS ON HIS SITE! 😍😍😍😍😉 Also, i like the idea of the bus!
Those are great ideas! An additional way multiple part time jobs could be useful is that they might require or earn different skill sets. For example improving your stamina or overall athleticism could help you win fights. Being a saleswoman could make you more convincing which could help getting rid of rivals in non violent manners. Working in a maid cafe could make you more alluring which could help getting information. It could also help getting senpai interested although that'd probably make things too easy.
I would like a street, but its YOUR choice to make it yandere dev. I think it would be REALLY cool to have a job and more places to get needed things. Please, yandere dev Make at least a street. That would be AWESOME
Personally, I feel trapped in school the only places you can go are home and school. I think a town would be interesting yes but a street would be effective. If you want to do a town I suggest doing a street first and open certain shops. Over time once you have finished the street you can make another street and soon enough, a town. Though this is only an idea from a kid it sounds strategic and convenient. This also allows you to work on osana and the town/ street at the same time.
Something you can do is not make it open world, but make it so for example, say yandere-chan overhears about a date in a certain place, after she goes home from school, she can decide to leave and teleport to the location inside a building. Of course whenever the couple leaves, and goes to another place to resume the date, she could stay behind and search for more hint/clues about what went on inside the building where part of the date occurred, however doing so would mean she might miss out on whats happening in another place where the date is continuing. This method would require a bit of creativeness, but it would be less work than making a small town, while still adding more interest to the game and an escape from school. Think of it implementing not a town, but only the interior designs of multiple buildings outside school( with an enter/leave animation of course), yandere-chan might have a computer or phone with a yoodle-maps app(no copyright) displaying certain locations and the time required to get there, and after school (maybe during), she could simply open up the app, select a location, and magically teleport to an animation of her entering the premises while checking her phone to see at which time she arrived. And in order to make sure people don't get bored w/ each location after visiting each of them one withing the start of the game, maybe make it so certain areas remain un-mapped(or un-selectable) because yandere-chan doesn't know of the area yet. Anyway, thank you for taking some time out of your day to read this comment/suggestion. You can decide whether to either use some of the features I mentioned or ignore it completely, I might not have even been the first person to suggest this and am just wasting your time. Anyhow, good luck on developing yandere simulator and may it be amazing when it releases fully.
I think it should have a small town, maybe Yan-Chan could meet up with some of the rivals and kill them, and there could be police men/women driving/walking about.
Red Comet i agree with you, it would also shorten the development time of the game and yan dev will receive less stress from the game, plus if a small town is added someone could get an instant game crash because it would just be too lagy with all the mechanics and npcs
What I think should happen is that there are a few bus stops around the town or some specific locations. The options to ride the bus to places BESIDES home, could be a little cage, or the ocean, or Senpai favorite places. It could cost a dollar to go to a few places. And there could be minigames at certain locations. Like the cafe. You could play a diner rush styled game to earn money!
Red Comet Street ftw, but violence allowed if no one sees you doing it in the street(being seen = game over). Plus more murder methods: where the online purchase comes in place, you can buy BB guns online, and use them to distract people, or have it modified by Yourself or SB so that it is strong enough to kill. Also part times jobs pls
Take all the time you need to make the game as great as it can be. A game that takes a long time to make but ends up being feature-packed and fun will be great to play from the very start. However, a rushed game with less features than it could've had to make it enjoyable will always be bad in the eyes of some people. Regardless if you choose to improve on it afterwards, the crucial first impression will have already been made, and whether it's a good or bad impression depends on how well you did everything from the very start. So take your time, it'll slowly but surely be a great game that way, rather than rush and risk leaving a bad taste for people trying out the game for the first time and reviewing it. That first impression matters. I, along with the rest of the fanbase here understands your intentions and wanting to make the game quicker, but reviewers and some other gamers don't know that. They expect a good game, and anything less will be subject to their criticism. So use all the time necessary and make the game so amazing that you wow gamers all around. Don't make them say "It's a good game for an Indie developer". Instead, make them say "It's a good game, period" I want Yandere Simulator to succeed, and to reach that goal requires a lot of time and effort. With that, I wish you and all the volunteers working as well the very best of luck. Cheers ^^
Sort of reminds me of No Man's Sky. There were so many potentially good features for the game (multiplayer and seeing others venturing space for instance), but instead people were given a game that was half-baked. Now updates are slowly improving it and adding features sure, but the damage has been done. They can fix the game all they want and even make it amazing, but fixing the game's image amongst the public is probably the toughest hurdle they have to face
MusicAndCars1 Yeah, but Yandere simulator is way different than No Man's sky. For one, Yandere Dev is constantly communicating with the public through his/this RUclips channel, always implementing updates, and the full game will probably cost less than the trash No Man's sky. Sure, Yandere Simulator it's taking a long time but the way Yandere Dev is handling it, it doesn't really feel like I'm waiting. Which is amazing.
I think a single street is a very good idea, but I wouldn't want to add more for you to have to add, Osana has taken a lot of time and I'm sure this would to, but I have no problem waiting.
jswp5 pickpocketing is already a feature for keys and we can steal phones from lockers and we can steal rings and plant items in unattended purses so I don't think that it's too far of a stretch to steal money from said purses or lockers or back pockets etc :) he even said you'll be able to steal items from Senpai like his boxers and stuff I like the way you think and I hope he includes your idea
I feel like Yandere Simulator be darker or have the opportunity to make or have more settings.. to find, make or eliminate new rivals.. I, of course, am not the only one with recommendations or thoughts... but I would like Yandere Chan to sneak around apartments and blackmail more students in different ways to force them into killing... They will start working for them... Or.... You could make a time where their parents are not home... and you have to befriend them to be able to come over.... help them... invite them over to Yandere's home... and murder them... Towns for Yandere Simulator will help the game.... It might take a while... but it will make it... Interesting...
Katie Kay that's a good idea, dark pulse, he didn't say that about yandere 2, he just implied that a town could be INCORPARATED into yandere sim 2. From my personal opinion though, a yandere simulator 2 should not be needed. This first game should be as great as this idea gets
Best idea! If some visual map needed, it could be done in Fate/hollow ataraxia style (it's easy for unlocking menus btw): vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/typemoon/images/a/a8/Fuyuki.png/revision/20111010011339 calamitousintents.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/hkgfate006.jpg
May be Info chan get some missions. And you don't have to kill people every time You can also bring something to somebody like druges cigarettes or steal something, for example . Just an idea.
I think there should be a cafe that Amai works at and a customer could ask for a drink, then the player will poison the drink and the customer will die. Amai would be arrested because police would think she put poison in the drink. Also there should be a mail box, it might not be the best idea but it will give the player the opportunity to send notes to students out of class. The player could possibly send a note to a rival asking them to meet somewhere then you can eliminate another rival. Also i think you should make a yandere1 then send another game which would be yandere2 so you would have more time.
I Love The Street Idea Because It Will Make The Game More Interesting And Give The Player Better Ways To Explore The Game And It Would Make The Game More Challenging Since You Have To Go There Yourself And Not Relying On The Internet To Do It For You UNLESS You Give A Specific Time The Item Arrive However, I Like The Street Idea More Because Its More Fun
Maybe you could ad the street and the computer store. The eshop could be cheaper but takes a couple days to receive, meaning you have to plan ahead. And the real shops could be more expensive but you get the items instantly. This plus an allowance system would be very interesting
This is probably the best idea. It's pretty like this IRL, and I can see how players might have to be tactical about their plans, but also have the opportunity to rush out to the shops if something doesn't arrive on time or a situation arises.
I think it's a smart compromise to do a single shopping district instead of an open world. I think an allowance mechanic is really missing some great opportunities. Different jobs give great chances for new events each week and different methods of removing a rival. I'm not obsessed with each part-time job having its own minigame. Again the most important thing is that you get changes in environment for the base game and different event scenes. Maybe each part-time job has a chance that classmates will enter the shop based on their npc profile.
Maybe Yandere Chan could bribe her endrival with the money xD Just joking lol A town would be great with shops and everything in it. I know that it would take longer but the game is still good and i could live without town. Never mind but it would be nice ^^
I was surprised that theft was not an option. All income is stolen money, just like pantyshots are currency. Except you mainly steal from teachers instead of students.
Totally! A town should be mandatory. I know how hard the game is on it's own, but a town provides more variety and it is more realistic to the game, for only affecting things during school time makes no sense. I know it will take more work, and there will be a pause in the updates for the school, but it would be worth it because there will be a lot of fun. Also, the title(s) do not apply to the school at all. I know adding a full blown town with trains, and 3D shops and mini games will be time consuming, but just think of how great it would be.
I agree that he doesn't need to overwork himself and I would like for the game to have a one-way street not a whole small town because it wouldn't take up as much time but it'd make the game more exciting.
I like the small street feature. It fits this game, and having a big town seems a bit intimidating. Yandere-chan should earn a weekly allowance and part time subtitle jobs. As her parents are out and don't know what she's doing so it makes sense that she can do both. (I'm not making any suggestions, I'm just sharing my thoughts and what I voted for)
Aurora Sparks I most definitely agree! you read my mind. also I voted for 2D mini game, personally I grew up with the early games before 3D so it's a bit nostalgic. also it keeps the focus of the game to win senpai. also idk about Japan, but parents don't just give an allowance for a lot of money. I always looked for part time gigs when I was in hs
Aurora Sparks I like the feature as well. He could design the town less like an open world and more like different areas to go to, in a way that's similar to Persona.
I looked back on this old video and looked at the poal, it looks like no town won, which I'm sad about. Well, I don't exactly want a *whole* town. A street would be Fine.
The Fact Show again this is the problem with most game developers they are usually to ambitious which isn't bad but it can cause some uproar it's like with the sims it had a good first game and second debatable third too but sims 4 while good with the sims itself doesn't go well with fans it seems more like a game that's ment to have more features and that's the one flaw that most effects it
I think if you do add the street, you should have the part time job maid cafe and date sabotage in the same building and have it be the only building you can move around in.
Some good ideas, but I would also like to see more of Yandere-chan's house. You mentioned it as a way for the game to start filling her inventory (like with a knife from her kitchen). If you're going to expand the game's environment, I think that would be a good place to start.
And what if; In the town we actually have, 1 or 2 streets before the school location, is a street with every store, shop or building that we need? (1. I have no idea if that will take a LOT of time to add it, or 2/3 months, because i don't know things about programming. 2. Sorry if my english is too bad, i live in Colombia and i don't know so much about this language... But well, thanks for reading!)

Yeah, but 51% of the people are against it :'-(
+Ich Nicht 49 I believe, plus they are against the *small town* and not the street so part time jobs will most likely be a thing, I'm not so sure about sabotaging dates though...
I feel ya brother :'c we may not get a town...
almost 90% are for buying stuff in town but 50% are against the town itself... Yandere Dev forgot to add the "street" option to the town poll?
Add skipping school

It could allow you to do all the town's benefits in school time

It would lower reputation and raise suspension

Is it just me are does senpai seem like a playboy by going out with all these girls?
Well yandere only needs him mentally so she dosen't care.
Well technically none of them get around to asking him and Yan chan technically does love him because of the fact he makes her feel feelings
@@phantominway No. she only needs him to not feel empty.
@@skylovermc2146 and that's why she loves him
@@phantominway you can not say that is really love, if not that you need it just to feel complete, you do not necessarily have to love it, yandere dev says it in a video

a single street could be added, when osana is done,he can start on the town.
XOLBOR but that could mean a new path for osana

Mark Blaze Say that to Ry Se
what if yanderedev just put a couple of locations? there could be a bus stop just outside the school where you can choose places, like "senpai's favorite coffee shop" or "maid cafe".
Miyumura you smart person!
sosha20 thanks haha
That's actually pretty smart. Maybe instead of having the actual town it could be like what he showed! You can't ride around the town but there are areas you can go to or maybe even unlock. Maybe even some minigames. Such as in the maid cafe, you okay a short game where you have to serve maybe a few customers, and the style is in like pixel art or something like diner rush or something!
This is amazing - this could work so well! It'll mean yanderedenv doesn't have to design a whole street and the outside of the stores then, just the inside
Miyumura Reminds me of My Candy Love / Amour Sucre.
Lol that last yandere Chan minecraft "hairstyle"
Can't she just steal money from others
Marley Wilson This sounds interesting.
Marley Wilson this game is about murderer not a thief games...
Loot money from corpses.
Miko-chan it's not simply about murder. it's yandere simulator not killer simulator. simply means that yandere chan will do anything to get senpai. doesn't have to be necessarily violence. there are ways to get to your goal without that
Miko-chan that's a good idea, because she's a yandere, not a murderer so she does anything to get her love.
I like the single street, the town could possibly be confusing to players
Sydney yeah, I'd get lost if I had the game.
Sydney I
i think having a whole town might get confusing but a street sounds nice
A whole town wouldn't be confusing.
Have you very played Gta v.
ITS A WHOLE CITY!!!
Little Weiner with a whole team of people working on it. Remember, yandere Dev in ONE person. He has a few volunteers but that's it. It takes him a long time to create code for the game.
ollieisfab yes but once the crowd funding succeeds, which it will the game is waaaay too popular, he can hire a professional team. dramatically reducing the ammount of time it takes
tediblackbear he can add a map
Abdelrahman Hatem how would that help
I believe a small street and online orders would be nice. Maybe the player is a shy yandere or an outgoing yandere. Having both would provide some playing flexibility as you can play events over the weekend and purchase items after hours.
Amber Faux yea
Oh wow
You predicted it or he did your idea
we got it
I think adding a street would be amazing, but a town would take to much time
Yandere - Craft same, i would much rather just a small street so its easier to work on and doesnt have to be super complex! The town would take too long a d its just another feature that doesnt really need to be in tye game but it can be so a street would awesome!
The possibility of stealing could be great
Helmotz how ?
minigame?
Like the one with stealing the keys?
Rameesah Zafar
Stealth, like the thing where you can steal the test results...
But ofc!
You could add seasons to the town and then you could say
WHOA TECHNOLOGY
Joy Levi Simm I just wanted to do the WHOA TECHNOLOGY meme
Joy Levi Simm ten weeks
strawberry queen that's a good idea, it's a kinda boring being in just one season per environment still it would be cool for the single street, it is the first game so I think take a small step at a time.
strawberry queen WHOA TECHNOLOGY
*WHOA TECHNOLOGY* has gone alonggg wäy
I think a small street would be great! Won’t take too much time like a whole town.
It would be amazing if police can track the murder weapon from a purchase in town... XD
RanguGamer True.
Youd have to sabotage the cash register secretly, to

QentoS Agree. A large town would detract from the game's social stealth feel. Plus, all these things would make the game more interesting.
Yandere chan can work at Senpai’s favorite restaurant. She can spy on him. If he brings a girl, she could sabotage the girl’s drink easier.
a small town could have a mental asylum for yandere chan
True -3-
mary lewis Lol true
What a great idea!
mary lewis The turtle is for development purposes only.
mary lewis 😂 I don't know about
The single street idea seems better than a whole town.
Elizabeth Mitchell yeah, it will add more environment, but it won't take as long as a full town.
Elizabeth Mitchell Exactly what I was thinking. He could even add extra side streets if the game warranted it, for more atmosphere. Cut down on cost of a full town, and get a similar effect.
yea
brabrabra2 Well, the town modeling was just for an exp
Elizabeth Mitchell I agree
Just add the street. It's the easiest solution that provides all the advantages.
Lord Voldemort i still think street is the best but it doesnt give all - alternative ways to kill and dispose the bodies isnt there
Fran Mesić the street can end near the large body of water
We already have many elimination methods. A year is way too long to add to the games development.
DEFINITELY ADD THE STREET
Take the time you need so you wouldn’t feel pressured
We all want something new and exiting
For fans of Yandere Simulator and/or Yandere Dev;
I already put my votes in the pole, but if you do end up putting in a small town/one street then maybe yandere Chan could get a job at (like you said) a maid cafe.
Plopp Sopp that's a good idea!
Plopp Sopp yyaaassssss!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow!
nice idea
Plopp Sopp maybe when Osana is holding a cup of soda ganders chan could quickly knock it out of her hand really stealthily
Poison the popcorn 💖
_Who wants a small town in this game, just leave a like at this comment!_
I do. I will wait as long as possible. Just seeing how it's made is awesome.
Who else here is still wOAH TECHNOLOGY
WOAH! me too!
BlackenDrawing CK yay biju!
BlackenDrawing CK what is the "woah technology" thing? I dont get it.
Sans the Skeleton You would have to watch one of YandereDev's previous videos
It's something from a previous yandere dev video. When game developers add small levels of detail, like ice melting, or something like that.
Take a drink every time YanDev says "Small Town".

can't I'm ten
Austin Shearman TEN?! This is a game about murder, kid napping, and sabotaging!
Member berries nah its cute when you hear their screams.. aaaaah...
:D
what if, you add both online shopping and physical shops so the player cab buy things both ways (add a deep web where they can buy things like guns and drugs)
Tony Flamingo This^^^
It would make a great new "environment" for players to explore and they wouldnt get bored as easily.
And she can either earn money by stealing it from other students, doing little tasks for students or working in some store.
I agree
Tony Flamingo so do I
Hey yanderedev I think maybe you could mix the part time jobs with sabotaging your rivels date.
Town or no town, I think that this game will be great no matter what.
abbey lowe yeah
abbey lowe I agree, a small town would add a lot of excitement to the game.
YASSSSSSSSSSS
Aslynn's Daily Videos Already a lot of stealth mini games. Besides, people would exploit it.
Unless only a certain someone who's doing sexual pleasure is the only one with this money and everyone else has a low amount of money just to pay for lunch and you can only do it on a certain day because she only does it that one last time maybe? Then again I don't think Yan dev is capable of doing that tbh
THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!
Aslynn's Daily Videos yeah kid you heard the man... Don't waste you time.
Challenge:take a shot every time he say small town
i think a single street provides a lot of personality to the game and is a great decision
Artificial Academy 2 had a single street and it was great ;^)
YA BOY G ain't heard of that game, what was it for?
porn and mods
Peas it's kinda like a dating sim game meets the sims. you can customize your characters & date them, or even have sex with them.
If you're not looking for hentai, it's not a hard game to miss.
the polls are bit confusing im pretty sure the one street thing will be implemented into the game.
people are saying a whole town isnt needed for the game to be enjoyable. but they are also saying they want to by things from stores(not online.)
Aced Player really first comment is a hater
Yeah, I wish Yandere Dev added the street option vs no town vs having a small town (Also, just ignore the comment, it's probably some insecure kid)
@420 German Person Place holder m8
The game isn't even done yet but I'm already excited for yandere sim 2 lol
LoL

Huh, RUclips pushed this to me as if it was a new upload. Because its the one year anniversary of the upload? weird.
I would personally be fine waiting a few months but probably not an entire year
So I am very much for adding a small street, with stores cafés and maybe even bars
Like if you agree
Edward Sonnenschein fuck off
Purrel The helper fuck off
The commenter fuck off
DJ JewMoneyJew fuck off
Edward Sonnenschein yeah I agree !
We've waited this long on the game to develop.........I think one more year won't hurt😊
I think he should do the computer thing then maby if he wants he should do the small street.
Yeah
I Draw Stuff yup
I’m patient but I think it’s better off for a street
I Draw Stuff yandere dev is been making osana for almost a year and how much more time will you think the other rivals will take? and a small town have pity on him geez
or she could steal money from other students
igor karas That's actually a really good idea... I think Yan Dev should add that because, W O A H T E C H N O L O G Y
igor karas That's just too much
igor karas to good; but to easy...
It can be a good idea but it's need to be too challenging.
Now that I look at this comment, its actually pretty long
the street definitely. it sounds like a cute, simple idea.
We need the whole fucking state of Japan.
Sydney Marie Maybe just a few small streets, I'd prefer a dense and small environment over a large barren one
xXraptor gamerXx LMAOOOOOO you just made my day XD
Sydney Marie Yeah, a simple street looks lovely, and I don't like the idea of using a bike, it's boring
I honestly think that, if he is going with the street idea, he should make it 2D and point-and-click. The different style would make it cheap, quick and easy to make, while enabling it to be more detailed. It also would create a different setting from the school, while being more in line with the styles of the 2D games.
The small town makes more sense for the game because Yandere-chan just wants to live a quiet life with Senpai.
Yandere-chan wants a quiet life.
FoxiLoveble San Killer Queen has already touched this comment thread.

Please add the town! I want to stalk my Senpai there!💗
Yandere Chan Oh you classic yandere ^^ always wanting to stalk your senpai ^-^
Well, if you want Yandere Simulator to come out in 2021, then ok.
Yandere Chan BAHAHAHAJAAJAJJAHAAH
The Worst Username You've Ever Seen. yeah its better that the game is released earlier than making it a better game, I learned that from No Mans Sky
Yandere Chan xD Nice xD
If you had a small town, you would have places to keep weapons instead of picking up weapons off of school ground
Internet Hobo maybe in the town you can get a crowbar, hammer, stick, machette.
Yeah that would make sense
THE FUCK. HE SAID THE SAME EXACT THING IN THE VIDEO! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS COMMENT LMAO
*One thing*
There is no town... ._.
YET.
Yeah. Yet
Kurumi Sakamaki {Yuma's 14 yrs old sister} waaaaa
He’s still working on it, he’s currently working on a lot of things, bug fixes, the rivals, and the town, who knows when it’ll be done
That Weird Person Nobody Knows •-• guys I know I know...
NMH is one of my favorite games too lol.
I think a single street would be sufficient enough, a small town is simply too much work.
2D minigames as sidejobs would be very refreshing actually.
Rei Date yeaaaaay !
Rei Date
I agree
I think the street is awsome, and if you do do it, I think you should have citizens and police officers, and a call box thing where you could order things or call people to borrow things and a small, hard to see alleyway where you can buy actual weapons and poisons from a guy for money and mabye for favors such as befriending and killing a certain citizen. There can also be an illegal fight club, where you can fight for money in the alleyway.
turtledove 542 yes and the rivals and senpai's houses.
turtledove 542 that's an amazing idea holy crap
turtledove 542 So basically "Grand Theft Yandere?"
Maybe info-chan can have her own shop as dry-cleaning and wash your bloody clothing and when you come to the shop she also should have an option to give you money for panty shots!!
turtledove 542 AWESOMENESS
That is really smart(if yandere dev is reading this maybe u should get ur ideas from ur fans)
Keziah Galan Senpai's sanity would nosedive though
Nice idea I like it
Keziah Galan
Perfect for framing people too!
When he said yandere sim 2
*OH BOY OH BOY I JUST CANT WAIT*
Rayann Midkiff That'd be a good idea, but Yandere Chan's parents are over sea. Watch friend ship and betrayal.
Gamer The Fox
Yandere-dev has explained that everything is subject to change.
Also, i like the idea of the bus!
Rayann Midkiff Yeah, I like that!
YES
DO IT

You could do the street and if you ever get the time you could make it a small town bit by bit
Add a small town seems to be a good idea. It's not really important that will take a year or more.
Good luck !
To hope what ?
Release date 2025. Let's do it!
Yes Yandere Dev! I agree!
alucardonac mono
No. It's a waist of time but I like the single street idea
a WAIST lol
the street sounds like an amazing idea.
I would like a street, but its YOUR choice to make it yandere dev. I think it would be REALLY cool to have a job and more places to get needed things. Please, yandere dev Make at least a street. That would be AWESOME
Midori GURINU WHAT A UU GREATU NAMEU
Midori GURINU Ever here ! I wonder why 😉
Yandere dev yandere dev

R.I.P town…
Personally, I feel trapped in school the only places you can go are home and school. I think a town would be interesting yes but a street would be effective. If you want to do a town I suggest doing a street first and open certain shops. Over time once you have finished the street you can make another street and soon enough, a town. Though this is only an idea from a kid it sounds strategic and convenient. This also allows you to work on osana and the town/ street at the same time.
you should vote for it on the poal in the link in the description of the video then
Adi Wadi, i did but it didn't really state my idea
i agree! this is a great idea. how about emailing Yandere Dev?
I would appreciate it if someone could thumbs up this comment so @Yandere Dev definitely reads it.
please
Alexander Vazquez That's a very good idea!!!
Alexander Vazquez I love this idea!
Alexander Vazquez i love this methode i agree with you alexander 👍🏻
Great idea!
Is YandereDev giving me a shout out?
SmallTown 12 Wow.. 😂
SmallTown 12 lol no
SmallTown 12 This needs to be pinned...
SmallTown 12 ...
SmallTown 12 Yup
I think it should have a small town, maybe Yan-Chan could meet up with some of the rivals and kill them, and there could be police men/women driving/walking about.
Hello Awesome and Beautiful Stranger strolling through the comments, I wish you the best of luck in 2017 :)
awww thanks, subscribed
ty mate xD
ThatTopInfo thank you xx you too ❤
Thank you ❤️
sorry I was already hit by a school bus and now I'm dancing with swans in heaven
I think a single street should suffice. It's the perfect middle ground between using the computer and having a small town
Ikr! Most definitely a street, it would work most. I don't rly care how long Yandere Simulator takes, as long as the final product is awesome!

Instead, make them say "It's a good game, period"
I want Yandere Simulator to succeed, and to reach that goal requires a lot of time and effort.
You should do a street in the 1st game and base the second game on a small town
I think a single street is a very good idea, but I wouldn't want to add more for you to have to add, Osana has taken a lot of time and I'm sure this would to, but I have no problem waiting.
Neko Nichole
You have expressed my thoughts in the best way possible
Jax Anderson Yes
Neko Noble yeah
I don't want you to have to much work ether. take your time
I agree! The one street seems like the best plan and the deadline isn't that big of a deal!
what if some of the money came from rival's bodies or student's backpacks?
jswp5 pickpocketing is already a feature for keys and we can steal phones from lockers and we can steal rings and plant items in unattended purses so I don't think that it's too far of a stretch to steal money from said purses or lockers or back pockets etc :)
he even said you'll be able to steal items from Senpai like his boxers and stuff
I like the way you think and I hope he includes your idea
jswp5 yeah that's good
nice one!
yo black market though
Yeah that will be cool
I feel like Yandere Simulator be darker or have the opportunity to make or have more settings.. to find, make or eliminate new rivals.. I, of course, am not the only one with recommendations or thoughts... but I would like Yandere Chan to sneak around apartments and blackmail more students in different ways to force them into killing... They will start working for them... Or.... You could make a time where their parents are not home... and you have to befriend them to be able to come over.... help them... invite them over to Yandere's home... and murder them... Towns for Yandere Simulator will help the game.... It might take a while... but it will make it... Interesting...
OOH, BLACKMAIL!!
OH SHIT THIs IS LOnG
I agree with you that would be cool
I can hear this in Yandere Devs voice, the ...s make it more like him...
I like this idea I hope you can put a small town
Yandere Simulator Two could be summer break lol
Katie Kay that's a good idea, dark pulse, he didn't say that about yandere 2, he just implied that a town could be INCORPARATED into yandere sim 2. From my personal opinion though, a yandere simulator 2 should not be needed. This first game should be as great as this idea gets
K Lord I personally think it might be a Binding of Issac rebirth thing. like 5 or 10 years later after the release of the main game.
Or it can be when yandere-chan meats her mum and dad..
Or it can be when yandere-chan meats her mum and dad..
yea, that's a very good idea😀
or you can add the Go to Store, Go to work, in the menu at Yandere-Chan's room, so you don't have to worry about many details and possible glitches
BEST IDEA EVER
Best idea! If some visual map needed, it could be done in Fate/hollow ataraxia style (it's easy for unlocking menus btw):

Zigzag that's brilliant, I'd love that in Yandere Sim!
Not bad, but it still doesn't solve the "stuck in one enviornment" problem. The street would be a breath of fresh air from the school.
agree
Another way to earn money could be to do missions. (like in mission mode).
dewtschonka xo who would pay you for doing the missions? Makes no sense
May be Info chan get some missions. And you don't have to kill people every time You can also bring something to somebody like druges cigarettes or steal something, for example . Just an idea.
Anima Maerens Does the rest of this game make any sense?
dewtschonka xo you could use the money on your needs, that would make the game a bit harder.
R Bautista It's ironic cuz you're telling US what to do.
I agree but damn you don't have to put a capitol on every letter.
Punctuation really helps, man.
Reading This Comment Was Extremely Frustrating, You Aren’t Supposed To Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word
capitalizing every word is difficult to read if youre not a homestuck--
Maybe you could ad the street and the computer store. The eshop could be cheaper but takes a couple days to receive, meaning you have to plan ahead. And the real shops could be more expensive but you get the items instantly. This plus an allowance system would be very interesting
Alexandra elena ikr
o
Daniel White that sounds cool
It could get harder, and odd, but if done right, it could work
Daniel White Allowance system that only gives you money if your grades are good. giving more incentives to go to classes
This is probably the best idea. It's pretty like this IRL, and I can see how players might have to be tactical about their plans, but also have the opportunity to rush out to the shops if something doesn't arrive on time or a situation arises.
I hope you get a bigger team to finish this game... you really need it..
But the single street sounds coolio
he said he wanted to be an indie dev
Yandere Dev: A very unwise desicion...
And that's how the headmaster was created
Every time Yandere Dev says "a small town", take a shot.
Wasted
Cup Head ded
Somebody call up Yan-chan
Tell her there's a cool elimination method here XD
Take a shot every time he says today
I think it's a smart compromise to do a single shopping district instead of an open world. I think an allowance mechanic is really missing some great opportunities. Different jobs give great chances for new events each week and different methods of removing a rival. I'm not obsessed with each part-time job having its own minigame. Again the most important thing is that you get changes in environment for the base game and different event scenes. Maybe each part-time job has a chance that classmates will enter the shop based on their npc profile.
Maybe Yandere Chan could bribe her endrival with the money xD
Just joking lol
A town would be great with shops and everything in it. I know that it would take longer but the game is still good and i could live without town. Never mind but it would be nice ^^
Minefox02 MC I think that there could be a feature sort of like that, were you could pay someone to help you
I was surprised that theft was not an option. All income is stolen money, just like pantyshots are currency. Except you mainly steal from teachers instead of students.
Minefox02 MC
Minefox02 MC not a bad idia but I suppose u may get expelled for it
I think adding a street would be the best option.
Oka Ruto Ya that seems like the best way...
Ayano Aishi Another me I found yandere dev explain to me
well i think that he shohld add a small town since the game would have a better rating and besides, even if it takes a long time, its worth it
Oka Ruto Same
me too
Take your time with the mini games and stuff. We don't necessarily want it to come out ASAP. And I think a single street is a great idea!
I agree :3
Saaren's Channel I agree.....
I also agree with you.
I agree that he doesn't need to overwork himself and I would like for the game to have a one-way street not a whole small town because it wouldn't take up as much time but it'd make the game more exciting.
A single street, because logic
I like the small street feature. It fits this game, and having a big town seems a bit intimidating. Yandere-chan should earn a weekly allowance and part time subtitle jobs. As her parents are out and don't know what she's doing so it makes sense that she can do both. (I'm not making any suggestions, I'm just sharing my thoughts and what I voted for)
Same! Thats actually exactly what I was thinking :3
This is a WONDERFUL idea!
Aurora Sparks You read my mind!
make a few streets connected to the school... one is too little, town is too big...
I think the idea of a street would be a great compromise to add depth to the game!
Ryker Hunt yeah I agree
I looked back on this old video and looked at the poal, it looks like no town won, which I'm sad about. Well, I don't exactly want a *whole* town. A street would be Fine.
look again
The Fact Show again this is the problem with most game developers they are usually to ambitious which isn't bad but it can cause some uproar it's like with the sims it had a good first game and second debatable third too but sims 4 while good with the sims itself doesn't go well with fans it seems more like a game that's ment to have more features and that's the one flaw that most effects it
I think if you do add the street, you should have the part time job maid cafe and date sabotage in the same building and have it be the only building you can move around in.
Isabella Worsley This is great!
YESSS PUT SMALL TOWN I ALWAYS LIKE TO HAVE A PARTIME JOB AND HAVING PARK HAVING CAFE WOULD BE GREAT! I LIKE ITTT READY TO WAIT :3
How many "all time favorite video games" does he have
かわいい_ ネコ
Well he certainly loves Street Fighter.
かわいい_ ネコ He likes persona 4
Some good ideas, but I would also like to see more of Yandere-chan's house. You mentioned it as a way for the game to start filling her inventory (like with a knife from her kitchen). If you're going to expand the game's environment, I think that would be a good place to start.
Yeah, that sound really cool!
Kumerai Fang I think thats a good idea!
hm... a small town... WOAH! TECHNOLOGY!
Aren't you the person who appeared in the last video from "I Hate Everything"?
you gonna meme that or not
omg he is
Robert Anderson
hi
Toon Squirtle omg that saying never gets old
And what if; In the town we actually have, 1 or 2 streets before the school location, is a street with every store, shop or building that we need? (1. I have no idea if that will take a LOT of time to add it, or 2/3 months, because i don't know things about programming. 2. Sorry if my english is too bad, i live in Colombia and i don't know so much about this language... But well, thanks for reading!)
