I love piano covers like this that don’t try to incorporate the vocal melody. Like 99% of piano covers try to incorporate it but I want to hear the piano the way it was meant to sound, like this

Same. For some songs, I don't want to play a solo version. I just want to play along the studio recording. This song is a prime example.

I like when they include the melody, but it is a nice breath of fresh air, you can tell a lot of the piano part would have to be cut out

You and me are the same
We don't know or care who's to blame
But we know that whoever holds the reins
    Nothing will change
    Our cause has gone insane
And these wars, they can't be won
And these wars, they can't be won
And do you want them to go on
    And on and on
    Why split these states
When there can be only one?
And must we do as we're told?
Must we do as we're told?
You and me fall in line
To be punished for unproven crimes!
    And we know that there is no one we can trust;
Our ancient heroes, they are turning to dust!
And these wars, they can't be won
Does anyone know or care how they begun?
They just promise to go on
    And on and on
    But soon we will see
    There can be only one
    United States!
    United States!
    Of
    Eurasia!
    Sia!
    Sia!
    Sia!
    Eurasia!

I have no clue when it comes to rating talent level on piano. Quite a few songs with Bellamy playing piano are pleasant to my ear, but how would someone with talent such as yourself rate his ability to create these different compositions? It actually made me dig back into their catalog and I'm glad I did.
It's anecdotal but I believe I got the impression that this album wasn't one of the most well received, but I really enjoy it. I noticed that every album (for the most part) seems to be unique. Those last 3 Exogenesis tracks are amazing, especially Pt.3. It actually drives some type of emotion in me when I hear it. That doesn't seem to happen often.
Anyhow, I will for sure check out your channel. That was a top tier playing and sound. Spot on.
    👍🤘

Use finger no 1 for the white keys and no 3 for the black keys. When there are two white keys before the black key, use finger number 1 and 2 for those white keys. Finger 1 is the thumb of your right hand. Do it slow first and start increase the tempo. Hope this helps.

    • @pawelkochanski2343
      @pawelkochanski2343  4 года назад +7

I'd say this one was much harder for me. Took me about 4 weeks to prepare after I started the real practice. It took so long because I play songs straight from memory and the Chopin part took me the longest time to memorize. It's actually pretty simple for decent piano players to pull off. I didn't play classical music for over a decade so I'm sorry for killing this masterpiece :D
