I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the thumbnail for this video! YAY!!! Thank you so much for showing your collection!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I loved that your showed close ups of all the details such as the tags, fabric and buttons of each garment! Also you alterations skills are impeccable, all of you garments look professionally altered!!! Each garment from your collection is so beautiful but I think my favourite skirt is the ivory one !
Hi, The book is " Chanel Défilés " Published by Editions de La Martinière. There's an English exact copy "Chanel Catwalk" published by Thames Hudson. You can get it on Amazon.com. I hope this helps, thanks for subscribing :-)
@@emilieworksinchanel What’s a coincidence, no wonder I like their products lol ! You have very good artistic eye in re-designing many of the jackets that you did Emilie!
Hi Anna, Thanks ☺️. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and that you are inspired by some of my works. I wish you success on your future endeavour 👍🏼. Just one tip, take your time and always sew roughly by hand before finalising your stitches. This will save you a lot of hassle, and time . Good luck and let me know how it goes 🤞🏼🍀😉
Emilie, compliments! A nice video, exactly what we were discussing :) but as I understand right, you've made all alterations by yourself?! The story with the Red jacket just opened the New world for me 😁! Now it's my goal, to repeat your experience!
Amazing collection. I bought yesterday my first Chanel Cashmere cardigan . I scored that in boutique with 40% off . Do you encourage investing on cashmere cardigans ?
Hi, Thanks for watching my video. Congratulations on your first Chanel cashmere cardigan. I bought a cashmere cardigan many years ago, but I accidentally shrunk it. So I prefer not buying them anymore for this reason. If you are careful with your cardigan, then you should continue buying them. I feel that jackets are easier to take care of and last longer :-)
Hi, I think you have to be familiar with the year, buttons, and label etc. Take a look at RUclipsr "Winnie Y" she's got some good videos about looking for authenticity. I did get a fake item once( in the beginning). It was a plain black boucle suit with cc buttons, the price was to good to be true, I never got fakes again after this one. Some good websites to check out are The Realreal and Vestiaire Collective. Good luck 🙂
Wow... amazing collection dear! I am hoping to purchase some RTw preloved. Do you have advice regarding authenticating such tweed jackets? And what do the rest of the numbers mean?
Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed my collection and Thank- you for your lovely comment. You should check out the youtube "Winnie Y" She has a video "Buying pre-loved Chanel Jackets Q&A. She covers the topic really well. If you have any other questions, I will be happy to answer. I usually find my jackets on the internet before buying them. The label indicates where the collection is coming from. Most jackets are lined in silk, never polyester !!! Good luck :-)
Hi Karen, I found my white jacket on Vestiaire collective, and the skirt on eBay. You should go take a look on their website. Sorry, I don 't know where you can purchase Chanel fabrics. I wish you luck in finding a Chanel suit for the wedding :-)
Hi Emilie, Such an amazing collection, all beautiful pieces. O wow you did the alterations yourself? How amazing! The red one looks so beautiful after you cut and added trim. Love the green as well, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Among all the collections I saw in RUclips, I like yours the best!Looking forward to more sharing!

Wow Emilie, the wonderful job you did transforming that red jacket! It give me such inspiration! Question : Where did you get the nice trim for it ?
Hi, Thank you for your kind words. The trim came from Veritas ☺️, I kid you not 😂. It's a fabric store in Belgium 😁

@@emilieworksinchanel I do agree with you . I believe cardigans are more difficult to maintain and will be showing wear quickly.
Can you show how you verify authenticity while browsing online?

How did you make the Chanel jackets bigger?
Hi, Most Chanel jackets have large seams, so there's room to take it out. I hope this helps :-)
Hello Emilie, may I ask where you do shopping to get all these beautiful items ,❤️
Hi, I got them pre-owned on eBay, Vestiaire collective, The Realreal, and Videdressing. Thanks :-)
