1932-07-30 9pm NBC Franklin D. Roosevelt Explaining the Democratic Platform (WEAF Aircheck)

This aircheck features presidential candidate Franklin D. Roosevelt in a specially scheduled talk explaining the 1932 platform of the Democratic party. The next day's New York Times--July 31, 1932--featured a front-page, right-column analysis of the speech, along with the full text of the speech taking the top half of page 2. Clippings from this issue with the headline and summative points are included in this video.
