Hey @maxcalhoun1978 - No ONYX here but these are the two Ultimate Boxes for October and November. The Ultimate Knife of the month for the November Box was similar to a recent ONYX, however it had a newly released "Red Linen" handle.

Maybe read the insert inside the box the pen came in, it is a Ethergraf pen, why it's writing on paper is because it a metal oxides with paper and leaves a mark, it's as old as Da Vinci and Albrecht Durer...

I have two knives over 200$, one folder from WE, and one fixed from hardcore hardware, those I never carry and keep them in their boxes for if I ever actually need to “survive” and I paid the extra for better steel and mechanics from trusted names so they would be dependable and last, other than those two knives, most are kershaw, gerber, kubey, civivi…. Budget knives that cost me 30-60 dollars and those are ones I like to see, not much point in getting a knife I’m afraid to scratch lol
