I hope everyone picked up that he was out all day and came back to his video only being at 47% uploaded. It literally takes Joe hours to upload onto a platform. That's dedication! thank you Joe
Good afternoon Joe, Just wanted to let you know that I greatly enjoy your videos, as I am also an outdoor sportsman, I’m currently battling stage 4+ cancer, making walking and breathing extremely difficult, but I go out every day possible to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors with family friends and my shadow my black lab . We watch your videos religiously as I can relate with you on a personal level as I love everything outdoors as being raised in a family of registered Maine Guides, hunting, fishing and trapping and teaching the love of the outdoors with the young generation in hopes that they keep it going because they are the ones who are going to take our place when we pass and gives me the drive to keep fighting seeing that I'm not alone in my "battle". I'm currently battling stage 4+ cancer that I was diagnosed with and forced me into early retirement a couple years ago as a third generation Firefighter and medic for 37 years (where I got my cancer from "accumulative exposure" from the smoke over the years) and second generation 26 years in law enforcement. I take pride in knowing that when I'm "called home" I will go willingly as I am a firm believer that in all my years I dedicated to my community and thousands of emergency situations over the years that I have made a positive difference in a single person's life while having one of the worst days of their lives. In nearly 4 decades I have seen things, said things, smelt things, felt things and done things that a person should never have to do and experience, that only those who are in the emergency services can relate to, I would never change anything in my past as it has made me the person I am today and both of my kids have followed in the family history and are also now firefighters and medics here in our area up here in Northern Maine. Please keep up the great work making memories and videos and god bless to you and your family. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Mike Warren and “Ranger”🐾

Well you went and did it. I am hooked on Joe Holland and his adventures. Loved the cabin video, but then again like I said I am hooked. Now I know how to make a PB&J. Appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos.
Always like the cabin life, it gives me ideas. When watching canoe video's of the Alligash river; the camp life gives me more ideas of setting up camp and different recipe's for my trips.
Joe ,,we live in the concrete jungle down in North Carolina lol ,,and we love to see everything you show ,,,it’s just a great joy to see proof that there are some sane people left ,,and places to live that don’t exclude basic sanity,,keep er going and we will watch ,,thanks for sharing this part of your life with us.
I like the cabin videos. Bring it on. I was just watching a video last week thinking I wonder what he’s gonna do when he gets back. Didn’t know if you got right to processing or other chores. Love the channel keep up the hard work. We all love it!
I am loving the trapping videos you're doing, camp life is a part of it. Wonderful job Joe. Green birch will burn if the old stove in my camp fills up with coals I will throw in a couple pieces of green birch for the night.
I was just scrolling through You tube watching my regulars. I stumbled up on this vid. Within 5 mins this guy says, “I’m gonna pee off of the deck.” Hahahahaha! I’m in! Subscribed immediately! I’m gonna like this guy!
Joe , espn before you know it! Great axe , I knew it was gona be a Maine !! When you head back south stop in to my shop if you have time Rt 7 pickers in Corinna we’ve grown a little bit. Keep living the good life sir !!
Hello from North Pole, Alaska! This is Christmas Day so merry Christmas from a 74 year old trapper who spent over 25 years trapping above the Arctic Circle in northern Alaska. Be safe in Maine. Thanks for the video. Dave
Your camp, trapping, and ice fishing videos are all entertaining. I noticed you could use a boot jack for the cabin. I would love to make one for you. Let me know. Stay safe.
Fiddleheads "if you know, you know ". I didnt always know. But I learned after seeing the episode of Northwoods Law. A couple years ago.. And then consulting with Joe. I'm glad to know. Thank you Joe!
Hi Joe, to me the PB & J Sammie, is the best bush Sammie ever. Good to see what you do during your once your day out trapping is complete. All important and necessary stuff. I have the gas can pump with the gas station like nossle, but you say the one you have stops automatically once the tank you are filling is fuel. I am gonna get me one of those. Cheers MT
The camp videos are great Joe. On the way back to Wisconsin after the moose hunt this year, I really struggled with leaving home again, and to be honest if I didn't have a wife and kids out here I'm not sure I would have returned. These videos from up in the big woods help me feel like I'm back there again.
Just a friendly tip from one sledder to another. When filling up once it hits the shut off. if you go to the rear of the sled and push down on the bumper to compress the suspension or sit on the rear of the sled it burps your tank of the air bubble and you can fit some extra gas!
@ thank you Joe, I’ve learned a ton from watching these videos. I’m 28 and never really been around trapping, last year to went and took the safety class through the state, just never had anyone to learn from. These videos have been awesome. And your offer to mentor people is amazing! I definitely may email you a few times with questions and stuff, but I understand you’re a busy guy!
Loved every minute of it, just keep up the good work, and I like them. Peanut butter jelly sandwiches too I don't usually do peanut butter on both sides. But I'm not worried about going through. I eat it too fast.
Hey joe! I've seen in past videos of you talking about your old trapping days and how you had to sleep in your truck or camp out. That had to be some cold nights, how nice is it to have the nice warm cabin to crawl into now days!
Joe your crushing it. Really enjoy seeing the full process of what your doing up there. Merry Christmas to you Donny and your family. Looking forward to next video
Hey! I watch your videos a lot and I love your ice fishing ones, I caught a 35” togue last year on Moosehead and it would be awesome to run into you on the ice.
I was wondering earlier on when i saw videos of the wood pile thinking it wasn't going to go very far if you were there alot. 😊 build a nice woodshed next year.
I make the PB&J with chunky PB. I do all the same night prep for morning. What knife is that you're using to skin ? That looks like a great little blade. Also love the content. You are living the life I wish I could.
Hey Joe, love the camp nightlife video! I had a question for you, what do you do with the carcasses of the Martins and Fishers and weasels? maybe coyote bait?
Joe, are you using Starlink for Internet? Works great for me up there... Starlink Mini with the mobile plan. I have a windshield mount and take it with me in the truck. Game changer being able to text with the other guys at camp that have the same setup.
@@JoeHollandFishing I run mine off of a battery power unit in the truck (that charges from the truck) so it stays running between stops. I'm bird hunting spots with dogs up in NMW. So kind of like you... Drive to a spot, walk a couple miles, drive to another spot...
