    My mom says she had Freddy, Jason and Micheal Myers in 80s and those were the scariest of scary movies, i cant wait until I'm in my 40s with kids and tell them how scary the Conjuring movies were

      The scene in the Conjuring 2 where the nun thing is standing at the end of the hall and just looking at Lorraine is straight up nightmare material. It's HORRIFYING.

      You damn right. I don't know who pick them up for the role but he's a genius. I watched The Conjuring 1 a week ago. And what makes me want to watch Conjuring 2 is them even before the genre of the movie. I love horror movies but The Conjuring is way better because you really care about them.

      It's like right at the end, when the spirit is exorcised for good and there in the foundations because she's chasing her daughter. She like vomits out Reddish-black "blood" with what looks like the consistency of oil.

    • @gasparddesrousseaux6464
      @gasparddesrousseaux6464 10 лет назад +1

      It's the same in the French version ! Remember, when Lauraine falls to the dark cellar, she has a vision, she can see a fat ghost : Rory's mother, who is killing her son... One of the scariest scene for me, there are two jumps scare and we learn that Carolyn may kill one of her daughters as well. Great film !

    The art of making a movie is beyond what you can see. It makes it even scarier when you see it's based on a true story and that a spiritual world is real. People has gone through these dark experiences and only when you go through it you realize how frightening and real it is. Stop trying to look so brave saying it didn't even scare you people. Hope you never go through anything like that in your lives.. You may want to rethink your skepticism, God and the Devil are real and you choose which one to follow

    I'm really glad to see Lili Taylor in this movie among others in this movie. A lot of people would probably say that she's underrated as an actress as in you rarely see her in movies as critical as this but that's the acting world for ya. I'm just really glad to see her in this movie because her character was really strong and she played that well with the great talent that she's always had. I really loved her character and Vera Farmiga's.

    This movie shocked me with how scary it was! I watched it in the cinema and so much of it stayed with me, especially the wardrobe scene. Aside from James Wan, I think the cast really helped. so you (have to) ask a generic question and you can actually see the director going into his "generic-hollywood-answer"-mode.It's like a well trained dog saying exactly the things you would expect him to... i could only see this because jake normaly doesn't ask these questions. How shallow and repetitive a day for a director or actor has to be when promoting... and how refreshing it must be to be asked genuine, intelligent questions which can make even the viewer think twice... great job :)

It was a very good movie and seeing the reactions from people in the theater was hysterical. The only thing that bugged me was the doll lol I hate dolls and I know they changed it on purpose for that reason because the real Annabel doll is a raggedy anne. I would totally go see this again and can't wait for the DVD

    This film is great for curse and witches. There's many shamans in Asian cultures that can have a hit film based on true stories as well. There's stories that people have seen zombies, cat-like animal that transforms to humans and other distinctive smells when they are near. There is an actual zombie that was caught by this tribe. Look further about it.

    Some people sitting a few rows below actually burned some kind of incense at the end when the credits were rolling. I saw the smoke and they put it out fast. They must have truly believed that they might attract something evil into their lives by seeing the movie. Someone there thinks their wiccan and was really scared.

I've been taking them at 4pm- 10pm -4am 10am- 4pm- 10pm- 4am- 10am- everyday. same thing. Last night i watched this movie and my alarm went off at "3:05" with a selected tune not the default. I went back and checked all alarms but they read "4am- 10am- 4pm- 10pm" . I thought it was weird. but i just said a lil prayer and dozed back off after shutting all alarms off. ^.^
