I have one, it rides a bit like a tractor but it's such an experience. I never take it for granted. Carfection did a video on the Urban G/S...perfect representation.
haha, yeah that did look pretty clean didn't it... probably could've got a few more miles on that but I wanted to get it swapped out before winter. I changed it back in fall 2019 but just got around to editing and posting the video.
Man in times like these I just miss my bike so damn much. All those aimless kms riding whitout a destination just for the hell of it. God I miss my Nina.
I Think this is a great video. Lighting works really well with the subject matter. Did you use mainly available light and was it shot in a flat profile then graded a fair bit to crush the blacks? One way or another, the end result looks brilliant and extremely cinematic. Almost enough to make me give my Urban GS an oil change
Thank you sir. Yeah, I'd say it was 75% available light. I used a few little Litra lights for some of the under the bike shots and catch lighting on various shots. I shot in a flat profile and graded in post. The first few shots are from a Black Magic Pocket 6K camera that I was trying out so those were shot in B-RAW.
Unfortunately you have to take it to a dealer to have them reset it, or pick up the gs911 tool that allows you to reset it yourself. No little hold a button for 5 seconds trick like on some vehicles.
Awesome HQ stories, beautiful and passion for you cafe racer, I myself got a triumph street cup, wishing the r Nintendo as we will get through the con COVID-19, soon. Keep posting . BRegards form Ecuador
Thanks so much, I love the Triumph line as well, they are arguably the ones that ushered in this retro renaissance. I hope to one day pick up a Triumph on the secondhand market.
Felicidades por el vídeo, es realmente bonito. Respecto a los espejos y el porta matrícula, ¿qué marca y modelos son? Un saludo desde Catalonia y gracias!

Hey, what’s the name of the tool you used to remove the oil cap and where you got it? Also what’s the name of the metal washer that you replace, the size... and also where you got it?
Nice filming. I would recommend showing the use of a torque wrench for the sump plug and oil filter for those not familiar with how tight these should be installed, although it’s good that you provided the torque values in the captions. Also, safest to wear disposable gloves when removing the filter to prevent risk of scalding, and used oil can be harmful to skin. I think all the RnineT range sound gorgeous even on standard silencers👍🏍
You know, that's a good question. I didn't see anything in the BMW 9t manual about not using a synthetic oil. I do run mineral oil in my old M5. The Motorex website literally says that this oil was "specially developed for BMW air/oil-cooled boxer engines", so you can decide how much you believe that. So far the 9t has been running great with it.
@@GGMediaWorks bike looks clean bro all it needs now is the high mount exhaust so you can see that beautiful single sided swingarm it make the bike look that much more beautiful
@@damonwilliams4963 I have a Zard full system waiting to go on this spring. Should get it on in the coming months. Will make a video for sure on that modification.
Never seen a more relaxing and pleasant oil change video in my life. Great job!!
Just captivatingly relaxing, if that even makes sense. 5 star rated
I've never been so captivated by an oil change. Well done and give us more.
I never thought I would enjoy the process of an Oil Change,... but what beauty, now I want an R Nine, and 4K ... NICE.
Thanks man, appreciate it.

Coole Idee, so einen entspannenden Ölwechsel, habe ich noch nicht gesehen.
This video is so beautiful and I also learned how to change the oil on an R NineT. Please make more like this.
Love the way you make an oil change into a movie!
The videography is absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much
My first change is in the books! Love your videos.
Who knew that an oil change could be relaxing, love your videos, wish there were more.
It’s amazing, it’s art! 🏍️💨
That oil looked good enough to fry cutlets with and still use for another2 thousand miles
waste of oil but sick vid

Nice vid- makes me want to buy an R9T and change my own oil

amazing work and beautiful thanks you so much
Turn on Closed Captions for step-by-step instructions.
Nice license plate! 😉
Be careful, the bolt on the K&N oil filter is there only to help to "remove".
The filter should be tighted by hand.
Rodger that, just gave it a little extra sung.
👍 I believe K+N have got quite a bad rep through filter failure by people doing exactly that.
Buena máquina....
Bonne vidéo !! j espère que vous allez continuer de faire des vidéos sur l entretien de votre moto

The oil that came out of that was cleaner than what I put into my car.

Awesome video! You made oil change looks simpler than what it is, question... how about the service light on the dashboard?

Great vid... subd. Good to know about the crush washer! Aren’t 9Ts the best? 🏍
The 9Ts have a very definite character about them, lovely machines.
Lovely vid. What paddock stands you using?
I'm using the Pit Bull stands.
Good video clip but bit dark to recognize clearly....
One question. That boxer oil is a fully syntethic one? Does the NineT needs synthetic oil or a mineral one?
