Every time I watch any of your tutorials I have an aha! moment I'm completely hooked! In just days I've got moving characters using what should be obvious tricks (but are not to my novice straight out of illustrator mind haha) Please keep making more videos I'm watching pretty much everything So easy to follow along and understand and just jam packed with useful information ❤️❤️❤️❤️
HI THANK U FOR THE TUTORIAL IT HELPED ME A LOT BUT I AM FACING A PROBLEM IN ROTOSCOPE IN BLENDER GREASE PENCIL..THAT IS MY FRAMES ARE OVERLAPPING AUTOMATICALLY what i should do guide me and software is crashing too ?
So you may have to advance the frame manually. In other words, Click on the frame then draw. On the other problem, you might need to reinstall Blender. 👍 😎
Every Animation industry does this Rotoscope but not really Rotoscope .. They film their own Motion cap and draw over it.. it saves a ton of time and money.. the more efficient way to animate ...
So the standard for animation is 24fps, but you really don't have to follow the standard. You can use any FPS that best suits what project you are doing. I am drawing on ever 3rd frame in this video just for the convenience of a faster drawing time. Hope this helps. 😎
Hello! Thanks so much for the video! I was wondering is there a way to change the FPS of the video? My video is on 30 fps but I want to change it to 24FPS
You can change the FPS of the Blender file but in order to change the FPS of the actual video you would have to do that in a video editing program. I am not sure if you can change the FPS of the video in Blender.
@@Learn2Animate thank you sm for the response! And yeah had a feeling it wasn’t a thing you could do on Blender 😫 Thank again and keep up the great work :))
There may be a possibility that it could be done in the video editor with in Blender. I am just not sure if it can be done. It is something we need to find out. Thanks!!
for some reason when I do this, the reference video doesn't show. I'm using 2.93.0 version so I was wondering if this has something to do with the version or if I have some settings wrong.
The version does not have to do with this. When you place video on a background or reference It will not render. Watch this video if you want to render the video: ruclips.net/video/o_CEsPD_OlE/видео.html Let me know if this helps. 👍😎
@@Learn2Animate oh noh. I wasn't talking about the rendering the image. What I meant was that when I need reference for my animation, eather video or picture, I can't see it when I'm doing the animation. All I get is empty white screen with yellow outlines.
Oh, OK. How exactly are you importing the reference image? I tried to replicate the error and I couldn't. Every time I import the image it is visible. Let me know. 👍
@@Learn2Animate I tested what happens when I put reference image in new project without doing anything else and my reference picture showed. Can it be that when you have already drawn some frames in the animation, Blender has problems to show the reference? I tried to put reference video in the middle of my sketch animation and it didn't show.
I tried import video as you but some parts of video is over 24 fps because of that the video only partly show it. Could ypu help me? I need to modify the fps at importing videos
hi, all you have to do is increase (Not the frame rate) the frames for the video. Click on the video and in the object properties change the frames. www.dropbox.com/s/2nv9v4mj286k97x/Video%20Frames.png?dl=0
@@Learn2Animate hello. I did sort it out. I was watching many of your videos and practicing on 2.93 blender but the new interpolation is unstable they must have improved that
I am not sure what could be happening. Just make sure that your video is at least 1920x1080 and you should be able to see it clearly. I will look into it. Thanks 👍 😎
And blender is free thats one beautiful thing
I agree, Thank you! 😉
I think this video alone can help to build an entire animation career.
I think you are right! even if your drawing abilities are not very high, you can still do this. 👍😎
Every time I watch your videos l want to say thanks, brother!
I appreciate that!😀

Lovely, when rendering what is the appropriate fps? 25fps sometimes break all the animation. What is the interval between frames in your timeline?

@@Learn2Animate 25 fps will destroy every 3 frame animated in 1 sec. I tried and it didn't work. 25 fps is definitely too high.
You can have your at 24fps and draw every 2 frames. That should work easy. 👍

@@Learn2Animate oooo! If you ever do find out I would love to know!
how do i do a perfect 180 with out changing all the othe drawings in the other frames
You have to draw one frame at a time and you shouldn't change existing frames. I will make a video on drawing a 360 turn in 2d.

So I tried what you said, I opened a new scene, Drew some frames and then added a reference image and chose a video and it worked. 🤷♂️
Rotoscoping!
Yes, still a great exercise to practice your animations.

Hi so when i start to draw there is a error: nothing to erase or all layers locked. Haw can I fix it?
@Veselina ivanova, if the error is a buy in the program, you might want to reload the program or try a different version. Hope this helps. 😀
Whenever I import the videos, the clarity of the video comes down making it difficult for me to trace the outline...what must have gone wrong?
I am not sure what could be happening. Just make sure that your video is at least 1920x1080 and you should be able to see it clearly. I will look into it. Thanks 👍 😎
@@Learn2Animate thank you...let me try..
How to hide my sketch from previous frame when i'm working on the new frame?
if you draw just a tiny line or a dot, the previous frame will hide. 👍
@@Learn2Animate Thankyou😊
My video is not play only starting frames playing
You need to adjust the frame length, you can check it out in this video: ruclips.net/video/NRutL9P0quc/видео.html Let me know if this helps. 👍😎
