- I started off this video thinking I was already in Chinatown but somehow I ended up in a local market where I tried a traditional Indonesian Dessert (Kue Pancong). After that I unknowingly bought an afrodisiac from a street vendor. I only realized this when trying it in my hotel room!
When I arrived in the actual Chinatown I ordered a traditional Ice-Tea with Yakult only to find out later that the Yakult was sold out. While having a normal Ice-Tea a friendly lady approached me and invited me for some delicious fish cakes. She also showed me around other places around Chinatown. We even searched for medicinal frogs but couldn't find any.
When we parted ways I got lost in the backstreets of Chinatown and discovered world's most annoying street food stall (non-stop whistling sound).
To end the video I wanted to find the famous Bakso (meatball soup) so I asked around and a friendly local helped to find it. When arrived at the streetfood stall they wanted to send me to the mall instead. I kindly refused and had a semi good bakso.

the first street food that you ate on this video was called ' kue pancong'. it is a type of cake or snack made from a combination of grated coconut, rice flour, coconut milk and salt. i am also a big fan of kue pancong, because it has good combination, crunchy outside but soft inside. i like to eat it when it is still hot or warm 🤗 .
the second one was called 'pempek ( cake fish) it is a food made from fish meat that is finely ground and then mixed with starch and several other ingredients such as garlic, flavorings and salt. Pempek is iconic street food from Palembang, South Sumatra.
third is 'kue putu' it is a steamed rice cake with coconut toppings and brown sugar inside, i think you have been tried it before in Malaysia, if i was not wrong 😄. and the last one is 'bakso' number 1 indonesian street food. you can find it in every city, every town in indonesia 👏.

if you're in indonesia, when you want to looking for some food, drink or dessert, if you see so many people who make in line at the food stall, or at the food court or at street vendor the foods, drinks or desserts that they sell must be delicious, which means good ratings but if you see just a few people who make in line, dont get in that it could be the foods, drinks or dessert that they sell have bad ratings not delicious.
