looking at the comparison between Nekomata and Jane Doe compared to Lycaon and Ben I'm pretty sure there's a bit of a theme where the more closely a Thiren resembles and animal the less they actually act like it.
like Nekomata looks mostly human but has a ton of cat-like mannerisms. same with Jane Doe having a lot of mannerisms shared with mice.
meanwhile Lycaon and Ben act and move pretty much like normal people despite looking like a wolf and a bear respectively.
of course Seth (a second cat-Thiren) and Ellen (a shark Thiren) kind of throw this out the window. I can kind of excuse this for Ellen since sharks aren't exactly very expressive (there aren't really any mannerisms to copy) but for Seth it does provide a notable comparison to Nekomata.
it also seems notable that both of the Thirens that have more animalistic behaviors (Jane and Nekomata) are the two that also ended up being part of criminal groups.
