0:22 They did not introduce Christianity, the Romans did. By the time of AS invasions Britain was christian but the AS were pagan! You got it backwards. Later the AS were christianised by missions from Rome and influence from the Celts.
That's why I should read the darn books before I talk about them! Thank you for the correction, I'll pin it so others can be saved from my ignorance! :-)
Nice to see in-page illustrations. I prefer that to the method that places them clustered together in 4-5 places throughout the book. The companion issue reminds me of Tutankhamun, absolutely stunning.
I for one, would just like to say that I appreciate the way you always pay special attention to the binding and show how tight (or not) the stitching is. That was my segue into book binding as, an interest at least. That book is gorgeous! Top notch! Thank you!

I can't decide between the FS Tutankhamon and the Taschen edition. Hopefully it will end up on the New Year Sale!
@Fierylunar: I did get the FS Tutankhamon in the sale, and yes! it's a very similar companion volume with incredible photographs! :-)

I've wanted to pick that up for a long time but that pricetag though...luckily I can now gaze upon it's beauty thanks to your vid :)
It will probably end up in a sale in the upcoming years, or you might find it cheaper second-hand!
