At which row did you add the eyes for the bear, and how many stitches between them? edit: i decided to place them between the 5th and 6th row and 5 stitches in between

I am probably not the person to listen to 😅 but to lengthen the arms, you could try triple crochet instead of double, and double instead of half? It might take some experimenting. If anything you could skip the arms all together and sew on arms. You can do that just like the legs but probably only do 5sc in the magic ring instead of 6, and adding 1-2 rows of sc. Then just sew them on where your arms should be. Hope this helps a little bit! 😊
I would just sc however many feels right into a magic ring, slip stitch into the first sc, and sew it on. It depends on how big you want the nose patch to be. Then for the actual nose just sew in black yarn in a Y shape! Hope this helps! 😊

Yes you can, I used acrylic yarn and a 3.5 mm crochet hook and it turned out great 👍
