Just like how there's been times where some male Kpop idols do borderline gay things on stage for the fangirls.

I'm very excited to see what Sakura has planned for the future. I can tell that the project group helped Sakura grow beautifully, and it makes me so happy to see her confidence and determination. I was pleasantly surprised by how Sakura's time with the group has pushed her to reach for greater things - I can see the ambition and the fire in her eyes and I can't wait to see what's in store for her.
I would say that she would rejoin IZONE again, but also sign with a Korean agency and move to Korea permanently. IZONE is pretty much on the verge of being relaunched now. Actually, IZONE has a really good chance of relaunching again. And all the members have said to have a strong will and desire to be in IZONE again as well. Hitomi just recently said on a radio interview that she wanted to do more IZONE activities. noticed, not a single Korean IZONE member has been confirmed to re-debut in another group or go solo or become an actress, etc. That's literally all 9 Korean members without a single confirmation. Even Sakura follows all of the Korean members on Instagram as well. And this is a girl who only follows certain people on IG, but follows almost every 48g member on Twitter. She only follows just 3 HKT members on IG, excluding Nako and Hitomi, who she followed only after they joined IZONE. Her IG is more personal, while her Twitter is more general. That's already a huge sign right there.
I love how Sakura speaks so well not only here but also on Saku no ki. I'll definitely be looking forward to and supporting her in whatever she does after her graduation. I will also continue to support HKT48 and Nako.
Nako being shorter than most idols made me feel more confident in my height, I’m the same height as her and a lot of times I lose confidence in myself because of it and cause sometimes people just tend to make fun of me for it but seeing that she’s doing well despite that and even get compliments from others makes me realise that isn’t so bad after all, thank you Nako😊💖
Not sure if it’s the contacts or if she actually has stars in her eyes when talking about her fellow Korean members, but holy shit I did not expect the waterworks hearing Sakura talk about improving her confidence and loving herself (for weaknesses and strengths). The biggest achievements IZ*ONE had on our girls were not the new fans, or hard skills that they improved but the ability to see themselves as strong people. Definitely did. People may take this as a hate comment, but being in 48g really limited her potential. I know that without HKT, there would be no Sakura. That's pretty obvious. But just as you said, going to Korea really opened up her horizon. She took vocal lessons in Korea, learned how to compose a song, write her own lyrics, improved her dance skills, and especially, she learned to love herself and accept self-confidence as being a positive aspect. And all this was achieved in just 2.5 years. And also other little things that she never got to do in 48g like dye her hair in more radical bright colors like pink, blue, etc. Instead of the usual brown or black in 48g. She also pierced her ears for the first time in the same way Eunbi did. Eunbi also inspired her to compose a song. She's learned so much in Korea in such a short time. Which is obviously the reason why she graduated from HKT on the very same day she returned to the group.

I remember seeing a clip of Sasshi telling these little Japanese kids in a variety show that an idol doesn't have to know how to sing or dance well. And the kids were looking at her all confused about that statement. But that's pretty much their mentality. And I'm pretty sure Sakura was very much influenced by that until she came to Korea, since she respects Sasshi and listens to what she has to say. Which was why she was so shocked and depressed about the fact that she felt like she accomplished nothing for 7 years when she witnessed one year Korean trainees being much more skilled than her, in both singing and dancing, on PD48.
I agree, people may think of this as a hate comment but going to Korea really did a lot of improvements and let them explore themselves. Because unlike 48g groups which have a certain sound and focuses more on entertainment, it limits their own creativity to be themselves, such as concepts they can do, the vocal abilities they can reach, genres they can explore and being a song writer or learning how to make songs. You can really see it in sakura, although she did great in HKT being a center in a lot of songs. You can really tell that she had a lot of realization during her stay in Korea. Her vocal abilities, dancing and creativity are great and can be seen in her performance there. Edit. Although this differences can be greatly rooted to the cultural differences in both countries, Jpop culture really involves a lot of connection with fans by mostly entertainment. Which is why most of them only undergo 1 month training then debut. Jpop idols tend to follow the trend of "innocent and shy cute" kind of idols. although now there are more new concepts as well which is good. In korea they kinda value more the performance level and looks which involves years of training, idols are a lot more "bolder?" and embodies the confident and strong type, but there are also concepts that involves cutesy stuff which is lot less common nowadays. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. But in terms of confidence, Sakura really did improve a lot when she joined Izone

Before IZONE debuted, she never would've thought that IZONE would blow up so big as they did and also enjoy her time in Korea as much she did. They were literally on the same level as Twice and the only girl group, besides BlackPink, that can actually compete with them and not lose. Not even Red Velvet can compete with IZONE. That's why SM intentionally delayed Irene & Seulgi's 'Monster' promotion when they overlapped with IZONE's comeback. Before she joined PD48, she was clearly depressed and unsatisfied with her life at the time and you can see it on her face during Showroom. Even though she was a high ranking member, she didn't know what to do with her life. Which was one of the biggest reasons why she joined PD48, aside from being a big fan of Korean culture and entertainment. Well, Koreans always say the last two parts of a name, if the name has three parts. That's why Koreans also call IU, "Ee-Yoo," which is "Ah-Ee-Yoo" in Korean. And "Tomi" for Hitomi. Japanese people usually calls by the first two or just the first. Like, Hii-chan for Hitomi. But for some reason, lately, HKT members have been calling Sakura, "Kkura-unnie" and even "onee-chan" out of nowhere. It was always Saku-chan before. Which is weird, because even Sakura said that Japanese people never call non-related people, "onee-chan" unless you're actually siblings. Korea is the only country that does that. Which is why Nako and Hitomi never call her "onee-chan" or "Kkura-unnie" when they refer to her in Japanese and just calls her "Saku-chan." Even though, the Korean members always call her "onee-chan" on Japanese variety shows and on Saku no Ki. But it seems like HKT members are copying that for whatever reason.

And also other little things that she never got to do in 48g like dye her hair in more radical bright colors like pink, blue, etc. Instead of the usual brown or black in 48g. She also pierced her ears for the first time in the same way Eunbi did. Eunbi also inspired her to compose a song. She's learned so much in Korea in such a short time. Which is obviously the reason why she graduated from HKT on the very same day she returned to the group.
@@Cranefeathers They don't really care about synchronicity or having sharp choreography in a performance like Kpop idols do. I remember seeing a clip of Sasshi telling these little Japanese kids in a variety show that an idol doesn't have to know how to sing or dance well. And the kids were looking at her all confused about that statement. But that's pretty much their mentality.
And I'm pretty sure Sakura was very much influenced by that until she came to Korea, since she respects Sasshi and listens to what she has to say. Which was why she was so shocked and depressed about the fact that she felt like she accomplished nothing for 7 years when she witnessed one year Korean trainees being much more skilled than her, in both singing and dancing, on PD48.
I agree, people may think of this as a hate comment but going to Korea really did a lot of improvements and let them explore themselves. Because unlike 48g groups which have a certain sound and focuses more on entertainment, it limits their own creativity to be themselves, such as concepts they can do, the vocal abilities they can reach, genres they can explore and being a song writer or learning how to make songs.
You can really see it in sakura, although she did great in HKT being a center in a lot of songs. You can really tell that she had a lot of realization during her stay in Korea. Her vocal abilities, dancing and creativity are great and can be seen in her performance there.

Although this differences can be greatly rooted to the cultural differences in both countries, Jpop culture really involves a lot of connection with fans by mostly entertainment. Which is why most of them only undergo 1 month training then debut. Jpop idols tend to follow the trend of "innocent and shy cute" kind of idols. although now there are more new concepts as well which is good.
In korea they kinda value more the performance level and looks which involves years of training, idols are a lot more "bolder?" and embodies the confident and strong type, but there are also concepts that involves cutesy stuff which is lot less common nowadays.
Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. But in terms of confidence, Sakura really did improve a lot when she joined Izone

Before she actually went to Korea, she wanted NO ONE to graduate from HKT because she said that she wanted to celebrate HKT's anniversary together and be with them for a long time and do more activities. and plus, she had her best friend Murashige still there and also Nako. So, even if most 1st gen graduated, she didn't have to graduate.
Before IZONE debuted, she never would've thought that IZONE would blow up so big as they did and also enjoy her time in Korea as much she did. They were literally on the same level as Twice and the only girl group, besides BlackPink, that can actually compete with them and not lose. Not even Red Velvet can compete with IZONE. That's why SM intentionally delayed Irene & Seulgi's 'Monster' promotion when they overlapped with IZONE's comeback.
Before she joined PD48, she was clearly depressed and unsatisfied with her life at the time and you can see it on her face during Showroom. Even though she was a high ranking member, she didn't know what to do with her life. Which was one of the biggest reasons why she joined PD48, aside from being a big fan of Korean culture and entertainment. She had more to lose than gain if IZONE didn't succeed or was on Fromis 9's level.
But I already knew she was going to graduate once she became more comfortable in speaking Korean and started to really enjoy IZONE activities. That's why she wasted no time and graduated on the very same day she returned to HKT.

Well, Koreans always say the last two parts of a name, if the name has three parts. That's why Koreans also call IU, "Ee-Yoo," which is "Ah-Ee-Yoo" in Korean. And "Tomi" for Hitomi. Japanese people usually calls by the first two or just the first. Like, Hii-chan for Hitomi.
But for some reason, lately, HKT members have been calling Sakura, "Kkura-unnie" and even "onee-chan" out of nowhere. It was always Saku-chan before. Which is weird, because even Sakura said that Japanese people never call non-related people, "onee-chan" unless you're actually siblings. Korea is the only country that does that.
Which is why Nako and Hitomi never call her "onee-chan" or "Kkura-unnie" when they refer to her in Japanese and just calls her "Saku-chan." Even though, the Korean members always call her "onee-chan" on Japanese variety shows and on Saku no Ki. But it seems like HKT members are copying that for whatever reason.
