My school chair basically stretches when you lean back, so you can crack your back on it, that’s why I like it as a good source for my back, because right after I pop it, my back feels great
@panzerlite8108 You could also take rehabilitation exercises that correct your posture, strengthen your weaker muscles, loosen up stiff joints to balance out your antagonistic muscle pairs, and change your habits that led to bad posture in the first place. There are specific exercises in yoga and pilates that target specific trouble areas. First one is more effective and safer. Second one may hurt knee on the floor, cramp thigh muscle on the chair, with only 50:50 chance of getting crack release.
You can do the same thing standing up. Go to a doorway. Brace your knee on one side and firmly plant your hand, arm as outstretched as possible (you shouldn’t be able to outstretch all the way), on the other side. Bend down and toward said knee. Now switch sides and you’re golden. If you have lower back issues then firmly plant your lower back against one side of the doorframe in the frame’s center. Then, place your hands against the other side at roughly bottom-rib level, with your elbows at an angle like you’re curling weights. Now with your arms, push yourself into the doorframe while you lean forward as far as comfortably possible. If you have lower back problems you should feel the joint release all the way through to your knees, despite the pain originating from your back. That’s how you’ll know you did it right (if you actually have lower back problems)
