If we want a clearance fit, we should make the hole within the limit.In the example of spindle, is it within 0.242-0.080 mm ?
Clearance fit: We should make the hole and spindle(shaft) within the limit.
Maximum clearance: Difference between maximum size of hole & minimum size of shaft = 50.062 - 49.820 = 0.242 mm
Minimum clearance: Difference between minimum size of hole & maximum size of shaft = 50.000 - 49.920 = 0.080 mm
Note: It may be vary depends up on the applications and the size of the dimensions.
