Failing the CIA Exam: Is There Anything You Can Do?

    I breezed through Parts 1 & 2. I failed Part 3 on the first attempt. Part 3 was a huge shock. There was a huge amount of topics I had never learned anything about before this test. I had studied hard for 3 months, 20 hours a week or so. It took me almost a year to master the material in Part 3. I used two study products- Wiley & Gleim. Total was about 7,000 multiple choice questions (for a 100 question test). I mastered all of those questions and the second time I took Part 3 it wasn't easy, but I passed comfortably.

    Hi I have failed my part 1 twice. I have put in more then 80hours in total. I have bought IIA practice book and online questions. But it still didnt work. How can I work better to pass my part 1?

      Great question! Most CIA exam prep companies don't sell them separately, and many don't offer flashcards at all. These are the closest things you can get to standalone flashcards: amzn.to/31Ymb16
      But you may want to look for a comprehensive option that includes flashcards instead. You can find those here: ipasstheciaexam.com/cia-exam-review-courses/
