Nice pickups, but I don't understand not just modding the WiiU. Its super easy, you can get every game and if you have a WiiU and Switch then you have the means to play everything Nintendo has ever released, playing gamecube on the Wii U pad is pretty dope. I kitted out a WiiU but gave it to my nephew, I have another one now but haven't put in the time to set it up like the other one. Are you planning on getting the whole North American collection as physical copies?
I dunno man, there's something about owning the games physically that feels special. My Wii U is modded and I've downloaded everything under the sun, but it's still more exciting to find a game and buy it. Also I kinda feel bad pirating the games even if you can't buy the digital versions anymore.
@@titanderp You don't need to feel bad pirating games that developers and publishers no longer sells officially and obsolete. They don't get any cent from those sellers anyway so it's morally justified.
I want the physical games regardless because I enjoy collecting! Also, I'm not going for a complete set. I am just trying to buy back every game I used to have before I sold them a few years ago. It's about 40 games I need (I have 20 something so far)
@@ZackLillipad cool cool. I get the nostalgia and sentimentality bit. I recently bought every cell phone ive ever had. Surprisingly a much cheaper endeavor than buying older video games. I get more of that physical nostalgia for cartridge based gaming, but since that is so ridiculously expensive I use the FPGA based MiSter system to scratch that itch for SNES, Genesis, and N64 . With discs all I care about is the zeros and ones. I collect isos and roms, i have every everything from North America before 6th gen. I have most of gen 6, but PS2 is too deep a library to even want to try to have it all. Same for PS1. 7th gen, I have a lot but the games get too big to want to try to get them all. Technically you can get a 16tb xbox 360 and fit all of the North American game collection on there, but the sports games and kids games just become things to scroll past. WiiU is a pretty rad console though. Modded it is next level having every Nintendo game available on the WiiU and the Switch. I still have physical games for Xbox and PS3 and Xbone PS4 and a few PS5 discs but I mainly saved them because I was unwilling to part for pennies. Now that some could be worth something I may look at it again.
Nice pickups!
The Wii U is such an underrated console glad (it seems) your a Wii U fan too.
I love the Wii U

I usually spend like 100 to 200 when I’m there
That’s about what I spent last year, this year I went harder 😅
