Jokes aside: this is the most tense thing I've seen, like watching a horror movie and not knowing if the protagonists will make it out alive.

That panic with all the searchlights is a mood, the one time I made it that far I had only one wire left and I couldn't find it. Didnt help that I had a friend call me at that stage so I had that stress on top of it. Panicked and went all over the place looking for the final one and ended up getting snagged just barely out of cover lmao
That death was also why my friend was treated to an entirely out of context "oh screw you, Sebastian!" (but in less polite terms)

I love the game simply because you don't think its going to go freaking nuts until it does.
Like, the game sets this eerie, calm tone for the first time you play it, but in situations like pandemonium or the eyes, then the breakcore kicks in and its just like "WHOA WHOA WAIT HOLY CRAP SLOW DOWN".

13:23 I think the searchlight can only reach a certain amount of speed for balance, so I think it’s speed is divided in to 15 (because that’s the gen number) and each gen you complete it gets closer to its fastest, so no speed change.

the searchlights grand encounter + ending encounter, its hunting technique is that it uses its "eyes" light beams to look around, if a living creature stands in the light too long, it'll be impaled and brought into its mouth
