I was curious to look at the distillation and very much impressed. Excellent video and useful

This video is very helpful because i am working at a air separation plant as a operation engineer. If possible, could you explain more detailed about fractional distillation.
    Thank you very much.

I don't think an air separation plant separates air into constituents simply because imo the air does not have constituents of oxygen, nitrogen etc. What I think happens in an air separation plant is the air is processed into nitrogen and oxygen gases and then these are liquefied. I'm not sure whether nitrogen gas is liquefied to help liquefy oxygen gas as liquid nitrogen has the lowest boiling point 👍 It makes sense to use liquid nitrogen to make liquid oxygen. So in my view humans manufacture the liquid oxygen and nitrogen from processing the air, not from separating the air 👍

How we got the boiling O2

The heat from the LP column boils the O2 in the HP column while also condensing N2 in the HP column

    Where's the argon seperated?

Normally is an intermediate gas between O2 and N2. So its extraction is in the middle of the coldbox column. But not always is requested
