Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is meeting Ukrainian President Zelensky today at Trump Tower in New York. The conversation was initially uncertain after Trump accused Zelensky of rejecting a peace agreement with Russia. The day before, Zelensky was received by US President Biden, who announced billions in additional aid for Ukraine. Zelensky is also demanding long-range missiles for attacks on Russian targets. However, the US and other Western allies are hesitant to supply them. In Germany, Chancellor Scholz is sticking to his "no" to the supply of long-range weapons.
