As excited as I was for this game & this setting , the more I see the less I’m impressed .. the combat looks decent but the stealth doesn’t look amazing & like u I wonder where the story is centered

Spot on, it's fanboys are so annoying. As much as I like GOT it's really nothing original, it's an open world game like any other, even the outposts people criticize AC for are in it. And they are worse than AC's outposts.

I hope that the black/white cartoon-ish effect when you use abilities are an option what we can turn on/off in the settings !!! Its extremely immersion breaking for me.

The only thing that concerns me is that naoe is going to overshadow yasuke cause right now his game play looks great, but I'm concerned that he will be too limited
For example, naoe is stealth and agility Yasuke is strength maybe they could of given him intelligence like maybe with his intelligence he could do more creative kills and solve problems creatively and I would argue they couldve taken inspiration from red dead redemption 2 if yaskue got into conflict with guards maybe his intelligence could help him talk his way of a situation or defuse conflict In an non violent way and may if they broght blending in back naoe could of had the persona system from liberation where shinobi outfit always attracts attention but other personas not so much those personas limits her tools and movement and maybe have persona exclusive tools and yaskue can't traditionally blend in but maybe using Red dead redemption 2 interaction mechanic he could blend in by how he talks and interacts with individuals where as naoe could be bleinding in based on her persona ie outfits And if possible, make yaskues intelligence help him solve mysteries and puzzles more effectively such as murder mystery from unity if they brought that back
I think he’s got a pretty big advantage in combat. He can only use the bow,gun, and kanabo . He also has more health and deals more damage. He can carry certain things Naoe can’t and do some specific activities as well as doing special moves like sheathed posture attack and the last combo move breaking enemies guard
That game looks amazing , the tactics and animations are great . Cant wait to play it , and ofc has nothing to do with GOT different game mechanics but this ACSh looks amaizing ..🍻🍻 to ubisoft for this masterpeace
This may come as a hot take but I think SOME people may agree I have a 50/50 outlook for this game The good things I’m looking forward to is a game set in feudal Japan and once again working as an Assassin However the bad is the fact that it’s a Ubisoft game That may be biased but I see that the current news with Ubisoft is not positive However I hope this game is a step in the right direction for this company so they can change their attitude towards consumers and in the future make interesting AC games that include new Features and Interesting time periods
Currently playing Nioh and it made me realise how boring DarkSouls combat has become. Less DS and more Sekiro/Nioh combat that is combo based is a huge improvement! Also funny how Nioh is set in the same timeframe, the mc is an english white guy and the game takes tons of historical liberties, yet nobody cared... 😂
when they r slower people say its too slow, when they go fast people say its too fast. ya i think its perfection. i hate when its slow. you’ll get use to it. the animations r butter smooth, especially gonna be smooth in 60+ fps!
I want to be able to "delete" other heros or characters I don't like. Like in baldur's gate 3 I would "delete" Astarion right off the back so he would not have a chance to hit on my Male heroes.
It's interesting to me how much Ubi is leading with the mechanics of the game in each of these 4 chapters... makes me think they are reworking the story...
If you talk about the real reason its delayed like the main character not being Japanese while it takes place in ancient Japan, and even one of the old Ubisoft devs stating the original Shadows script was different and the new one was made to fit a narrative, will you lose your sponsorship?
Lmao LITERALLY the MAIN CHARACTER is Japanese! Naoe is the Assassin in this game, she is a Japanese woman. Y'all really mad you have to choose what group you hate playing as more, a woman or black man 😂
And how exactly would delay help with something like that? You can't rework entire story in 3 months and Japanese protagonist is still present. Why are people acting like he is the only main character is really baffling to me.

You can make a simple Google search to see if that claim is debunked you’re only gonna need Internet connection to install the game. Everything else will be fine without.
That’s a big win, in my book. It hopefully unites the best of AC (stealth, parkour, and more urban structures and environments for missions) and the best of Ghost of Tsushima (the combat experience).
Or rise of the ronin. I just finished that game. Wasn't sure going in because of the massive amount of weapons and stances for each but all in all a great game. Kinda glad there's going to be few weapons in this assassin's creed. Taking it back to simpler times

I doubt it. It’s set in Japan, and I think the modern day is 100 years after Valhalla.

This looks so much better than Valhalla. I am hyped by this game. I know this is not popular to say that for a Ubisoft game but idc. Day 1 for me.
I think the overuse of slowmotion is going to get old but overall the combat looks good. I'm looking forward to this one.
