Pinecone gets some scrutiny from Shadow but remains in nest. Could be a way they perceive nestcenter. Bet it gets booted when eggs are laid...

Hi Dorothy, I'm no expert, but Jackie and Shadow tried breaking the pine cone a few times, so it looks like they might want to use the pieces for soft material, like @nvle21 said, but if they left it mostly intact , they might have bigger plans that we haven’t discovered yet! ❤
