The whole "temperature at which paper burns" thing is, uh... well, I guess the developers expected everyone to know it because of Fahrenheit 451. That's why the book is titled that. Yes, devs, it's a well-known book, but not everyone has read it, and even those who have might not remember that or make the connection. As soon as you said that was the number it wanted, I knew the answer, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's something everyone's gonna know.
I think its the perfect combination of "almost no one is going to get this immediately" and "almost everyone is going to feel dumb as shit after they work out what it is" that makes for an ideal crossword puzzle clue. Like, I was doing a puzzle the other day that asked for the Italian word for 20 and once I had enough letters filled in to guess it was "venti" I think like 3 coworkers audibly groaned that they hadn't figured it out sooner. I don't think it works so well in a timing-heavy video game tho.
I think Brutal Moose is my favorite internet reviwer. His videos are simple and not over produced, he has a natural and quick wit, and is just generally charismatic and funny. Can't think of a video of his that I didn't enjoy and that says a lot. Keep it up!
How small were these critical helicopter parts that she was able to carry them with her while dangling from a crane by her hands as well as all the other things? And she seemed to install them instantaneously.
This is why you don't use live actors in your games, because it causes people to question these things. Whereas when characters are just graphics, one doesn't wonder where they're keeping the hundreds of items they're carrying around, because it's played off as storage simply not being part of the character design.
I played through this in it's entirety back in 1995 and I loved it then. You end up re-watching the clips a bunch, so I guess it's not surprising how much I remember decades later. It doesn't hold up clearly, but back then just watching video on a computer was mind blowing.
