This mall had the distinction of being the only one to have 4 Gamestops at one point: the first one, which was originally Software Etc then changed to the Gamestop name in the late 90s; a newer Software Etc that opened when the old one was renamed; a Funcoland that didn't open out into the mall, acquired in 2000; and an Electronics Boutique/ EB Games acquired in 2005. The EB ended up being the only one that didn't close, although I believe it moved (and took the Gamestop name once the other 3 were gone).
Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Angel Quinn thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Angel Quinn HOLY **** IT REALLY WORKED :O I literally got access to my IG password after about 45 mins by using the site. I had to pay 15 $ but definitely worth it =) Thanks so much you saved my ass :D
I grew up in the 90s hanging at this mall after school since I lived 15 minutes away. My friend worked at the Starbucks. Miss the old aesthetic! But I am happy it is still thriving and open unlike my dad's childhood mall Century III in PA. RIP!!
I have been to this mall since a while, along with Livingston Mall. My mom goes there all the time in Newark, and we had to drive there if we wanted to go there. But since I moved to Newark to Somewhere else, mom doesn’t go to the mall and Livingston Mall Anymore. Now, we go to the Bridgewater Commons Mall Now. Since our local mall was closed down, we had to go to the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Good times 😉
I thought this was a beautiful mall. I love the architecture. But then i never saw it before renovations. It did seem a bit odd with the center court having a completely different look with windows above stores to appear as if youre shopping outside in a small town and then the rest of the mall looks modern. And Ive never seen a Dairy Queen at any mall! I really like the food court and the fact there's so much comfortable seating all through the mall.
Thanks for the great video walk through. Now Sears is closed down so would have been nice to go through these stores for future generations to see the history of malls. Just some feedback would prefer the ambient noise of the mall rather than the music overlay. It just doesn’t make it feel like I am there without the natural sounds of the mall. The experience gets diminished :/ Please keep these vids coming for every mall in NJ if you can upload a video without music and natural captured audio that would-be great:) Thanks! Keep up the great work! What type of cameras are using to capture footage in the case someone wants to become an ambassador. BTW - I have been going to Willowbrook since the early 80’s as a wee baby haha
I only include natural sounds if there is something interesting, like a fountain. The natural sounds of a modern mall with modern pop music isn't very nice. The project was started around the notion of doing musical mall videos, specifically using Library Music.
The circular entrance with the sign that says Willowbrook and the outdoor stores in that section I don't think that was there the last time I was at this mall cause the last time I was there was a long time ago I'm not saying I was there when this mall still had the old design like plants globe light post and carpeted floors cause it already had the current design the first time I was there so is that circular section new or was it always there and I just didn't notice it?
If this video was your only visit I guess you don't remember there being a fountain in the center court cause it had one when I was there and right by those stairs in the center court was a movie ticket booth something like that for buying tickets so I guess I just provided a little bit of history of this mall.

They’re building a staples next to Burlington and all the stores are shutting down like Burlington and Kmart....😢
Oh god, they even blandified the Sears.
Paterson hangout landspan. Most folks from Wayne don’t even go there because they don’t feel comfortable.
This Mall sucks and Wayne is going down the tubes imo.
Hi my friend and Cool mall and take care

Well now the lord and Taylor is closed but BJs took the seats place
Tomorrow I will go to this mall with my sister to buy at GameStop and order some Wendy’s

Is there a single vacancy? Man, NJ likes their malls!
The Sears space is vacant but it's gonna be a BJ's soon. That wing in general has the most vacancies but makes sense
@@rl8429 Jersey people like 2 places: 1) the diner; 2) the mall! Let's hope it stays that way...
@@rwbyfanfix554Theirs a highway that has like 15 diners on it, some literally across the street from one and other
Was just there last night, for the first time!
If I go to this mall would it be ok to watch this video in this mall or its not a good idea at all because of security reason?
Very nice video miss lord and Taylor and sears
A JCPenney is replacing the lord and taylor
I grew up going to this mall, and seeing it now makes me feel like my childhood was beaten, raped, and left for dead in a ditch.
Great video of a rather dull and disjointed mall.
Everybody looks sad
Honestly, if I actually remembered what Willowbrook Mall used to look like, I might be sad too.
@@RawRealRetail how did it look back in the day?
