Chad Reed Races His First Loretta Lynn’s Qualifier!

- Last day racing at the North Carolina Motosports Park! Team Two Two is heading onto the regionals including Chad after racing his first Loretta Lynn Qualifier! Everyone improved so much throughout the weekend, and we're excited to see how much more they learn from every gate drop yet to come!
We're the Reeds! Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! After recently retiring it is time for us to start the next chapter in our lives and we've decided to bring everyone along for the ride with us on our new youtube channel The Reeds!

One of the coolest things about moto is a legend of the sport can show up at a local race. You don’t see that in any other sport!
The moment we've all been waiting for. The champ showing everybody what champions do! It's gotta be an awesome feeling to be on the track racing against you, Chad! Your kids are on their way to following in your footsteps! I find myself turning to your page the second I get a notification cause it's great to see the improvements the kids are making. Plus you're the Greatest MX family on RUclips always giving the fans great content to watch. Appreciate you all!

Oldest boy has really improved. Wonder where this sport will take him. I love that he’s telling dad parts are sketchy and slippery so be careful. Made me smile.

My son Reed (Yes, my wife let me name him after Chad) and I always get stoked when we get to see the 22 family is still slinging dirt around the track. Chad was a major factor in making this sport what it is today, and seeing the next-generation of the 22 family growing and getting faster is just awesome. Keep it up yall!

I feel like the kids getting to watch you race helped them out in their races a ton.
It helps build their confidence and Dad’s ridding gives them a goal to reach for in their progression. I see Tate doing little scrubs and/or whips trying to mimick his father’s style and it’s working. Man did Tate look awesome with his air control but his dad was killing his competition in those corner berms and turns. That’s where the races are won and lost.
100% , well said. You can always watch other riders, but you always want to be like your dad ( most of us Atleast ). Being able to see him go out and race the same track and see the lines he takes before your motos is a huge help to them. I think this race may have just stepped their riding level up a notch. Especially Tate, he didn’t look nervous and was riding like he does when they are at their track training and his starts were on point. Man, I miss the young days of learning and racing and having fun with my dad and sister racing. Time goes by too fast!

Craig dack was my favourite rider back in the day followed by this guy. I still have craig dacks last race jersery from parramatta raceway / old speed way track in my wardrobe today. Peter jackson racing team. Chad reed was a on a different level to most riders and went to the usa to prove that. We love Chad. Aussie Aussie Aussie. Great stuff mate

Love it I have been watching you ride since the 125 days with James. Have seen you race Supercross and outdoors many times in person. You are an amazing rider and inspiration to your kids, myself and many others keep up the great work and keep on living the dream. Great footage and family cheers.
Remember chad spent a winter in Texas at track in floresville. I would take my son to ride his bike and chad was very easy to talk to and took the time to show my son how to read the track and let him follow him to see which line to take on different parts of the track. To this day, my son talks about that to his sons, my grandsons. Chad will always have a special place to many beginners he helped when he could. Great guy and hope all best for him and his family

that guy on the 250 two stroke Yamaha was seriously hauling the mail and keeping up with Reed, I think that was the most impressive thing I saw watching other videos.

CHAD 40 plus senior 😮 I remember those days i didn't even want to put those 40 plus trophies up on the shelf. Kia and Tate were both ripping around the track Tate was getting some nice air time, Its nice to see Chad sitting on the back of the bike on the starting line giving last minute tips to his kids , that's very cool. I didn't see Pace racing today I guess he was selling hot dogs in the pits today, lol , as always it was a pleasure watching your family.
Id argue those trophies are a lot more impressive than ones from your younger years.
