Allah Said in Surah Al-Baqarah (2 : 261):
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing."
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told us that: “Every innovation is going astray, and every going astray will be in the Fire.🔥🔥🔥 ” Narrated by Muslim (867) and an-Nasaa’i (1578). ( Biddah is all newly invented deeds which the Prophet P.B.U.H did not mention.

I realise it is such a big courage and responsibility on Islamic scholars heads that they have to teach but also preach. They spend their entire lives in this preaching...Subhan Allah...they are also humans...how they do it, absolutely magic. It's just like the people working backstage😀

Don't worry if not in this world, then in the next InshaAllaah you can have far better feast than biryani with Mufti Menk. I'll also join you both for the feast InshaAllah. We'll head to the company of Rasool Allah and have feast with him and other Prophets and Messengers and Shuhada and Siddiqueen and Sahaba. Will perhaps talk to you, saying remember in the duniya, in Ramadan, you talked about having a dream having Biryani with Mufti Menk and you made a random comment about it and then a random person replied to you? Well guess what, I was that person and here we are in the best of the best gardens, with the best of the meals with the best amongst the best.
I know I got carried away :D but inshaAllaah it will be even better than the words I described it in :D

“A charity is due for every joint in each person on every day the sun comes up: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity; a good word is a charity, and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity.” (Al-Bukhari, Muslim)
Allaah the Almighty says in surah/chapter Al Baqarah in the Quraan;
"مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِینَ یُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَ ٰلَهُمۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتۡ سَبۡعَ سَنَابِلَ فِی كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةࣲ مِّا۟ئَةُ حَبَّةࣲۗ وَٱللَّهُ یُضَـٰعِفُ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَ ٰسِعٌ عَلِیمٌ [البقرة ٢٦١]
Translation of the meaning of this verse:

You are right shiek..but in Ramadan I.always spent my own money to purchased my food's I don't obliged anyone's..
Don't you buy food outside of Ramadhan too? Are you able to put a roof over your head or are you struggling? If you can do that and put food on the table, then what's stopping you from giving up just 2.5% of your wealth? Whatever you give Allah will give back much more in this life and the next InshaAllah.

I have been to the other side and was sent back because it was not my time, from it I realized this world is just a test. Do not try to beat the test, you can not. There is no way to beat it....just be the best person you can be. Nothing you have acquired matters in the end....such as what treasures you own, but what matters is what you did to make this world better. Be the best person you can be, even if it is painful, even if it causes you to suffer, even if others mock you for giving more beyond your means, this is the only true way to be. It feels better to give food than to eat it, once your realize what really matters. It is good to give the 2.5%....,but if you can, use your wealth in a way that you live upon only what is needed for your own physical and mental happiness. I have only recently realized these things I tell you, and I plan on changing my life going forward.

Assalamu alaikum brother! Fasting starts from dawn to dust i.e from fajr till magrib as per Islam. Having suhoor(mild food) is sunnah for us, which has many rewards and blessings. You can either wake up for it 'on time' or not is purely one's decision but having food after fajr is completely unacceptable according to islamic values whatever reason might be. Setting up your mind or increasing your imaan for suhoor is much important than setting up your alaram. These are seen just as excuses. May Allah (swt) guide you through by increasing your imaan. Aameen!

No it is not. Did you listen to the speaker? It must be voluntary and should also be done discreetly, not as a public record. What religion are you? You must be Christian and particularly American to think your way...
Nonsense, paying tax is charity. I earn the money through physical effort, my physical effort is converted into monetary tokens, some of the monetary tokens are taxed and go somewhere else to help other people. So I am voluntarily and discreetly helping other people with my efforts.
