    How come the monks in America don’t have these traditional haircuts and instead grow beards and mustaches?

      I guess it’s because they belong to a different order of monks

      Some do- for example Clear Creek Abbey or Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery in New Mexico. Usually it’s those who celebrate the Mass and Divine Office in Latin who maintain it…
