My performance so far in my first SoP has been disappointing. I thought I could save up to give myself a shot at the leader board like most events, and with SoP I'm not even getting close to breaking into the Top 150. I'd almost rather save up for Hall of Chiefs or King of Ice Field because I can for sure break into the leader board on those events and do the bare minimum for SoP. Do you think SoP gets less competitive over time?
You are right, state of power has suddenly become full competitive. The reality is, there was a time when people never cared about state of power and we could get high rank. But with time, people mindset has changed. Now everyone wants high rank, so a large number of players have shifted from king of icefield to state of power. In my opinion, at current situation, it will be better if you just get the reward in state of power and save most item for king of icefield. Go for king of icefield

You cannot buy any hero using gems. You can spin lucky wheel to get hero shards using gems. It comes during King of icefield and State of power. But the hero changes from generation to generation.

We have gathering task on day 2. Troops should come back from gathering in day 2 to get points. To get good amount of points, send your troops to gathering before day 1 ends and they will return in day 2 and you will get point

This will not work. Even if your whole server unequip everything, server power will not be decreased for game. Matchmaking works depending on the power which your server reached maximum
Yes, you can change alliance during battle phase. I suggest you to tell strong players of your server to join in one alliance for battle phase. If all strong players stay together, you can make huge damage to sunfire

Is your VIP is activiated full time? You will get 2 marching queue in starting, You will get 2 marching queue from research, You will get one marching queue from VIP level 6, If VIP is not always activated, that marching queue will not be always available.

They will automatically go back to their states as soon as SvS ends

Svs preparation gives more reward. You can get the reward from King of icefield and save your items for svs

There is a medal section beside ranking, from there you can get. You have to unlock all chest for it

Yes, you can change alliance during battle phase. I suggest you to tell strong players of your server to join in one alliance for battle phase. If all strong players stay together, you can make huge damage to sunfire
