What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. Imagine a flood happening, and you as an aquatic creature just running around killing everyone or just experiencing stuff you could never restrained in the water, it's beautiful
I pointed that out in one comment and it is funny to imagine you being an aquatic and attacking everyone trapped in it, getting a tasty meal for the day

As a beta player, I am going to miss the old menu and map. However, I am extremely excited for this recode. Though, I think they should fix the jump heights of a few of the creatures shown, especially kavo- that thing could be a nightmare to some players-
Another thing, I’ll miss the lengthy suspense of the gachas and turning them yourself. Not that I don’t like the new mechanic, but I’ll just miss it.
Also, thank goodness time points are easier to count.
The prices for male trial creatures are extraordinary, but a part of me still wishes it put that creature in the game as age 66 rather than age 1.
Overall, I can’t wait to try this out.
I kind of hate the bright unnatural colors of it, but I guess the jumping and map stuff are making up for it. I also don’t like the mystery gacha, it would absolutely drop all creatures’ price and the CoS economy would be ridiculous.. As it isin’t already. Looking forward for more updates :)

All I need is some sort of tweak to nesting. Something more realistic, maybe. Like pairs or atleast a better incubation system.

The recode might be what it takes to get me back into this game. I stopped bc getting newer creatures is impossible and I can never afford any of them, but with how good this looks I might just play for the sake of seeing all of the map. Hopefully it’s easier for f2p after everything changes.
It definitely looks like they’re making it more fun to play anything bc there was a lack of anyone playing aquatics unless it for unlocking something. Looks like the recode makes it more fun for all play styles hopefully.

I remember playing COS in the early stage. I was not a beta player (I don’t think) but I remember the tornados and playing as a koispe with my friend. I thought it was so fun. After maybe a year or so, I found the game again and started playing. I went back to the old spot where me and my friend used to always stay. It was so different. I played through 2022 and into to 2023 with the current map. I played for so long and really got better. I now have so many creatures and really have worked my way up and have become a good player. I will always remember the early stage when I played COS. It’s hard to believe that it’s changed so much since that time. I’m so excited for the new recode and can’t wait for it. COS has grown so much.
Yea, when I went back after months because my computer broke, I was so surprised to see no more tornado and the volcano changed a bit..I have so many memories of cos, like when I idiotically sold my ker for a wystora cause it looked weird (I still regret that) I don't really have the best creatures but it's fun playing as stuff that I like to and I hope cos gets a better rep cause a lot of people hate it for the p2w gameplay, a lot of people might come back from the recode though
I saw Conlander's video before this so I know that you were the Sochuri he killed as the Athulyth. I am so exited to see how the Kora's footsteps sound in this recode and a lot of the other creatures I love. Great video Zoto ^^

I cannot wait for the recode! The recode will balance out the creature meta so much now that aquatics can dart in and out of the water which allows for a much more immersive gameplay as semi-aquatic creatures and aquatic creatures. And of course, now that flying has been changed, we can probably see fliers as losing their touch as the dominator in the creature meta. Plus, now that the map is being mega-sized it will allow so much new places to explore and live since with the current map we have, being able to fly across the whole map in less than 3 minutes obviously shows that the current map is just far too small than what the community deserves. Although another thing I am praying for is them fixing issues with servers crashing, hopefully the recode may solve this issue entirely or at least lower the probability of servers crashing but, since the map is getting redone super big it would probably end up meaning that for mobile devices that the game won't run too well with all the assets that need to load. Even though there may be a good number of cons with the recode the number of pros definitely outweigh the cons. Another great thing is jumping, for so long there has been problems with an area being slightly too high up so as a terrestrial you can't get to it but with jumping it will fix it. Obviously big creatures won't be able to jump but smaller to medium sized creatures will be able to so I think it will also add a more immersive experience for terrestrial creatures. Plus, with gravity being added (good gravity not your creature falling idle if you go off a ledge) it will help playing as a flier feel slightly more immersive. But the biggest thing overall is the attention to detail the development team has put into the recode map, it is astounding and just gorgeous. Although I hope that the whole thing with having every creature in the gacha is just for testing purposes since the game's economy will be RUINED if they keep the events, exclusives, and wardens in the gachas. Except for Hellion since it is a gacha creature but the other wardens.
Same! I think you worded everything perfectly of what I loved of this recode. Not only everything will be balanced but we’ll have more mechanics and an immersive map to explore. Aquatics being able to explore out of the water with floods will be super fun (imagine carni aquatics terrorizing unfortunate souls who were caught in a flood), plus, it seems semi aquatics will have an oxygen bar so they won’t be able to be underwater for forever. When the recode comes out I think this will be my fav Roblox game (if lag doesn’t keep me from enjoying it ofc 😢), I already imagine myself playing as Ken and grabbing unfortunate creatures underwater and getting a tasty snack.

it seems like the recode will be changing how we play, i tend to use flying omnivores/ carnivores or land om/carn some semis. i'm hoping that it doesn't delete our save slots and just transfers them over directly

I really hope this recode allows for more realistic survival. I’ve been dying for actual survival where if I hunt I don’t get revenge killed or I don’t get others ganging up on me😭 this looks so much more promising!! I’m ready for more action and less lounging on cos😅❤️

Regarding the aquatic jumping, I’m pretty sure it will only work with specific creatures (low weight or special abilities one) because it makes no sense for a heavy creature to jump that high. I guess it is just part of the testing and will further be fixed. Also although in this early access the aquatics seem to be able to go on land I’m pretty sure it will be fixed and will make aquas lose health as they get stuck on land on the recode. I absolutely love the recode, although it seems like pvp will be hard and tricky with all this jumping and moving around, but hey, at least it will be based on skill rather than your stats.
I suggest that his blue pancake boi was able to jump as high as he did due to his wing-like flippers.

For example the kavo doesn’t really swim it just floats in the ocean so it doesn’t make sense it suddenly jumps that high (it’s legs are thin and it can’t possibly gain force with just floating around). But also, pretty sure that big creatures in the recode will jump, just not THAT high as to literally fly .

I like how they made it where it highlights what you're coloring much lighter so you can see it instead of constantly having to go on and off of it to see it.
another cool thing is that they made the map bigger. in general, the Cos map rn is not big enough to actually hold every creature in CoS. And because the map is bigger, it probably will allow more players to join.
I love the new features but I just really want a better economy. The one we have rn is not working for new players and is being a heavy body in pushing both new and old players away. And I dont blame them.
Currently 5 mush every 2 minutes means in a single hour you only get 150 mush. That is not working right now with how much everything costs and the fact that some players wont even interact with new players anymore in the trading realm meaning that trading is out the window, and the missions, while nice, dont do alot for ya.
To get to 1k mush you need to play for about 3 HOURS without dying, people dont have time for that, new players wont want to do that, and older players are not wanting to do that because of how much time it takes, and they have better things to do.
We need a change in economy, I would love something like Griffin Destiny where you slowly get boosts over time for how much money you gain, maybe even specific pop up quests where you have to travel somewhere and then you get a boost. Or do something where specific creatures get a boost to the amount of mush they get while playing them, and having this rotate similar to the glimmer and stat boosts. Maybe even both! Would it increase afk players? Yes, but most people already do that by just sitting in oasis constantly. At least even if there were more AFK players it just means that if they get found, boom free food.
Edit: Another thing I didnt add, the more Older Players we lose, the more of those very limited creatures we loose. Ever realize how your seeing less and less Beta creatures? Those players are slowly disappearing and no longer playing the game. Either because the community has pushed them away, they can no longer afford the time, or they simply left in general.
I know a few games where they had special beta release creatures that no one ever sees anymore. And often those who still play and still have them are on there to collect and will never trade or maybe even use them, just simply like having them.
Is really dificult control the economy. Is the comunity that chose the creatures price.
@João Vítor Queiroz I guess not the economy in general but the store prices. Some of those tier 3s with barely any ability or change in the game cost about 5k in the rotation store
Tbh atleast for me it seems like the game isn't that beginner friendly at all, I tried almost 6 different servers asking for advice trying to get to know the game more but not one person responded to I had to watch over 2 and a half hours of how to just play the game, everything is so expensive and like you said just for 150 mush in a hour isn't alot at all, trading is absolutely useless if your new since from my personal experience mainly everything people want is like 5k mush or over and it is very grindy to earn that much, plus people take alot of advantage of new players because ya know none of the creatures they have are strong, reason why I didn't murk anyone yet because it seeme like everyone is so tanky and then me who only has a tornir with a few other newbie creatures and that's it. Could just be my experience since more than likely I'm just probably slow but getting mush even playing for hours on end is super hard to do when you don't feel motivated enough and without any creature trying to murk you on sight
@@Maytrixwasheree for you get a good amount of mutch you need to play events for the creatures or sell creatures that you can get without events. If you really want a good amount of mush you can try to sell creatures that are new in the game. A lot of people pay a good amount for new creatures.

Hey Zoto, since you have access to the recode, can you see what semi aquatics/all terrains have oxygen bars or not?
If they do, it means that they can only stay underwater for so long. But if they don’t, they can stay underwater for as long as they want without getting air.
It’s just something I really wanna know!

But semi aquatics will of course, and I think it’s a nice detail because although they have advantage of being more than one terrain, they won’t have the full perks of aquatics, they need to ensure to have an air supply to avoid drowning… oh man being a Ken will be tons of fun

This is amazing! I cant wait to buy the early access once it gets released. Im glad they also added the option to have less lag as many mobile players crash very often, the devs also confirmed there’s gonna be a better gameplay experience for us mobile players!❤

@@PreviousLime Nope, there’s no exact date of when its gonna be accessible to everyone, but we are able to buy the early access for 250 robux (not rn) which also will give you a free exclusive creature after the early access, it will be free for everyone once they release the full game recoded. Really excited for the recode! It looks really cool and I think i'll probably get really back into the game when its out. It used to be exciting to me in beta because it seemed so unique, but at this point its kinda just devolved into grinding for hours to unlock cool creatures and then just sitting around to show them off. I stopped playing a lot because of how difficult any new creatures are to get, and just the pretty bland survival. Ive also had some pretty negative feelings towards the game for a long time at this point because my qurugosk, ghibli, and boreal warden were all magically deleted from my inventory one day, only trace of those is a stored boreal i had. Really hoping that at least some creatures are easier to get, and also that it doesnt make my computer have a heart attack if i click off my roblox window while playing it.
So hyped about the new map! Only if I had a chance to visit the recode 😅But anyways, really looking forward to it coming out, and I'd say the new improvements with animations, shops, gachas, and all those stuff really makes CoS stand out more! CAN'T WAIT (literally)!!!!

i can't wait for this new updated version of the game! i really enjoyed playing COS for a little bit back around when tornadoes were first introduced, but it didn't really hold up for what I wanted to do, since I was looking fora more survival experience and everyone else only ever just hung out around the oasis... but the recode seems very promising! i just hope old creatures will carry over somehow

Honestly.....i dont like 3 things abaut this :
• the fall damege cuz we dont need to take damege when we fall thats callde extra un-needed hard core survival and that would be ridicules being that the game is already hard core with taking damege frome winter and sesons
• the glass covers up ur screen and it makes me feel like im not playing as a creture anymore....i feel like im controling some kind of robot 🤖 and the glass seems un needed since all it dose is get in the way.
• the old map gave us 3 options we could hide ourselves frome other players and frends or we could only be visible to our frends or both our frends and players can see me....i dont see any of those options meaning that privacy is not a thing hungry players can just scout u out and eat u....and what if ur trying to hide ur self in a hide n seek chalenge? That wouldent be fun anymore...
~ also 2 more things theyres no traiding relm how will we trade? And theyres no mud no mud = no more healing boost how would we survive without a health boost?! Thats callde making the game more intense than it has to be 😢 and what abaut noobs? I am looking forward to the changes, it looks like they are trying to make it so people don’t huddle up like they do in oasis. Another thing I noticed is when he tried flying he didn’t spring up into the air I love that change it felt so ew. And with flood and stuff hopefully aquatic creatures will get more love, I think part more of the map being covered in water would be cool, kinda reminds me of dinosaur simulator way back.
I'm so excited to be able to leap out of the water with diff creatures and able to actully jump with land creatures. The game RN is a bit boring without those features so I'm so excited for the recode

Even with the recode, what I'm worried about is another oasis situation. All the people seemed gathered at one spot, and it still looked like there was kosing ( the athu? it may not have been but it kept going after zoto so- ). I hope they encourage actually playing the game how it's meant to be played this time around
I will miss the old cos and all but I'm really excited for the recode, the sad part is that you cant play the early access if you don't have robux. meaning you wont be able to play creatures of sonaria at all, and its my top go-to game on roblox, though i hope they fix the creature picking menu cause it looks really empty and it looks like you only have like 4 creatures

My god... i've been playing CoS now for like 3 or 4 years and seeing this makes me exited and even a bit scared. Everythings looks so different en new. Im sure im gonna miss the old map and places. I dont think im even willing to be wandering around knowing that i hate kosers and people who are just random attacking others without any good reason. But im afraid thats not gonna be it. Someone help me im being scared just watching this😮.
the "kosers" are probably just ppl tryna play the game as a survival, i really hope this actually reduces the amount of just chilling at oasis and roleplaying because thats what made me quit and made it boring, just became a chat and trading sim
Yes the goal for the devs is to scatter diff creatures to their actual terrain so people stop chilling

I think you shouldn't because the economy is getting bad and if your shrooms and cretures would be reset might help, also it would get rid of cretures permanently so it wouldn't be impossible to get all cretures

The recode is going to bring so many people back. Including me. People sitting in the oasis and talking was so boring and it became a role playing game which is the opposite of what I joined cos for, survival.

i think the controls will stay the same but if u press space as a non flier u will jump

i've been playing for year this game man!!! i swear, it doesn't matter how much i will get nostalgia for the other map, i will not miss it, it was so boring and this is a big improvement.

Im playing the recode.
The flight is so hard especially with the big creatures cos their turning radius is big and slow, its so hard to maneuver.
Also a simple vine hanging on a tree will knock u out of the air down on the ground, so maneuvering with a big creature is so difficult.
I cannot wait to play this recode when it comes out

i think the reason the chamei can jump so high is because of its wings it lunges out of the water and flaps its wings to get even more height as for the giant crab i have no idea
I hope they fix the korathos animations in the recode once it releases

The coloring for your creatures is based off of griffins destiny and some of there flying animations as well
i remember in the early game we were able to jump, it broke somewhere along the way

I’m a beta player, I left around the end of 2022. I couldn’t keep up with the creatures anymore, I couldn’t enjoy the survival part of the game, and it was very laggy. This recode seems interesting and I may come back. I’ll always miss the old map and menu but this could bring a new era to Sonaria.
It kinda look similar to ‘ Griffin’s destiny ‘ (the game was made by the developer of cos)
