i own the entire series, and it helped me get through middle school.. Marissa is so well with words that i started another one of her series, Renegades, i’m on the first book and it’s really good

This is SUCH and underrated series and I honestly really recommended listening to it in the audiobook form, it INCREDIBLE, almost like listening to a movie and the narrator does different voices for everyone which really elevates the story and suites the characters (in my opinion) it also makes the action more intense and scary/suspenseful. At the end of ‘Winter’ there is also a interview with the author. I listened on iCloud.💕

Pretty sure she meant out of everyone in the cast. While Kai, Iko, and Winter are the only ones who are frequently described as Asian/black, Marissa Meyers also confirmed that Cinder is mixed (asian and white) and wolf is middle eastern. (Leaving Thorne, Scar, Cress, and Jacin as the only main white character)
Obviously there’s still characters like Dr. Erland and Levana who are white, but I believe she was mostly addressing the main cast.
