  • Hello and welcome back to my channel!
In this video I interview Paulette Pelosi, a Welsh Italian who lived at Dillwyn Cafe on Dillwyn street Swansea during the 60's and has plenty to share about Swansea City's past.
I asked her about her Italian heritage and what 60's Swansea used to be like.
For me, these stories are so important to record so we can share memories and experiences forever. I'll be back soon enough with more interviews and stories about local history! But in the meantime, why not check out some of my other videos?

you'd be surprised by how much its has changed , I remember John Menzies , back in the 80s ,you'd be excited about going to town to buy just about anything , there were so many fun shops, the odeon cinema was great on the Kingsway , the quadrant had more variety of shops . live bands ,music was strong

Great little video, Paulette Pelosi is wholly correct when she mentions looking up at the top floors of the buildings around the city to discover their history.
