Building must be preserved before it's too late. It is not only cultural-religious significance but also architectural legacy that is irreplaceable. Maybe something independent funded by private donations along the lines of National Heritage in United Kingdom is needed.

My village, I grew up here went to same school for few years, use to play gilli danda and cricket, over 25 years ago, My childhood memories with me forever, sad 😭to see it like this, it was in much better condition before, good old days :)

I was student in this school 1958 _64 and left for England reminds me of childhood spent in this school lot of memories attached with this school I planted a tree Raitha in 64 which still exist
I passed my matriculation in this school in 2010 i really enjoyed while reading in this school infact that time was best time of my life .i really miss my school and school life .right now i am in saudi arbia.

Khem singh was to Sikhs, what Sir syed Ahmed khan was to Muslims of British India. But Punjab Lehar be sincere and honest to tell the real history of this man during 1857 revolt. He helped deputy Berkeley of Gogera distt to kill Rai Ahmed Kharal - real pride of Punjab and honorable son of land. Let's not play sad music for this Bedi guy, and turn him into some sort of hero, which he was not. He got this land of 30000 acres in reward from British for his active role in 1857. So he is from the lineage of Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq. I hope Punjabi Lehar will pay tribute to Rai Kharal in forthcoming videos.

This was my school, I used to study in this building, It has much more things to show. the producer should have covered all the building. He missed the basement which is very attractive too. there are many more things also to show. we used to call this building as damdama. it has few outer door as well which opens in the street near the mosque. in the first part of the documentary. The single story arch work buidling was also shown, which was the Astabal. We learnt from our grandfathers the astabal was a place where singh used to use for his horses. this has also few more stories. i know each and every inch of this place as i spent my childhood in this building. its nice to see it on youtube while sitting in USA.
