My Great Aunt Francis had a Christmas tree in every room, including her bathrooms. Different sizes, of course. She would have a theme and have an open house. It was really cool. Have as many trees as you want. :)

Sometimes it is better to be a little later to a sale like this to avoid the pushy crowd that is usually at the front of the line. Your patience paid off with some great finds at the sale. Regarding your comment about avoiding some things because you were not sure of the price, I usually grab everything I am interested in that doesn't have a price. If the price quoted by the cashier is too much, I have no problem leaving it there. Given how much stuff they had to sell, I would think they would be happy to dicker on some of the prices. Thanks for sharing this fun estate sale shopping trip!
Just yesterday I got an aluminum tree from an antique store. And I believe you guys may have been ripped off. I'll tell you why. I went to an antique mall. And they had an aluminum tree 6ft original box, sleeves, base. The whole shabang. For it all $150 + tax was $169.74. it was only missing 3-4 branches but the owner of the mall said she had extras. Which means mine will be completed soon. But mine is 6ft and from the early - mid 50s. That tree is missing it's original base. If I got everything original for $150. That 3ft tree is worth maybe $40. If not $70. You guys got ripped off.
