      @@Krod50 So you know a twiker when yopu see one, amazing. You obviously don't know much about air rifles and/or the air rifles she is using. Both have an ajustment from 5-1 on the power they produce at impact. I listen to her and she will telll you at what power she is shooting usually the lowest power, and will also note that there is a backstop and the the type of pellet sher is using. Actually she is a very responsible shooter. Oh, I have been a firearms instructor and range master in the past and have been shooting for 70 years.. Wish they were more people that excersised this level of responsibilty and concern when they shoot.

      Yes I have and there are a lot of good shooters out there.....I still stand on what I said. Jessica is second to none for shooting offhand and at multiple angles and distances.....which you don't see at a match where everything is at ground level, standard heights blah blah blah and I might add, every one there competing practices at those "known" positions, Jessica shoots her targets wherever they happen to be located. In a nutshell the two venues dont even compare other than you are shooting an air rifle. Nothing at all against match shooters they are amazing at what they do. Jessica would most likely show them a thing or three on their ground. Have a coffee and dream something else up!

    This is another example of why our federal government should outlaw exotic pets in the United States. These animals don't deserve to be killed, but I understand for environmental reasons there is no choice.
    However it doesn't remove the complete lack of responsibility of the death of these animals on the scumbags that release exotic animals into the wild where they don't belong.
    Freedom comes with great responsibilities, and a huge number of Americans don't care. Very sad.

    If you had maybe 3 or 4 reloader holsters, or two that can hold a pair of them each it would be much better than having to take your time reloading each time you run out of pellets. It wont be long before youll be equipped like a Champion!

    • @dalehill559
      @dalehill559 3 года назад

      Reloader holsters !?, while I admit I haven't parused the airgun sites in some time to see what's new, no pellet holsters are needed, it's a spring loaded pen style, or flatter configuration you preload your pellets into, as you need to reload you stick it into the open breach and push, release another round in and close the bolt, fire n repeat, those pens, etc can hold at least 15 or 20 .177 Cal's the last time I looked I think, they're cheap, last awhile if you keep em clean n lubed, and don't sit on them, but take your time aim better shoot less is the way a hunter is taught when taught rite, less shots, less noise to spook other game or if you happen to miss your first shot, you may get another that day, and hopefully don't drive the game outta your area, or just put them on high alert, waitig for your next lil mistake that they won't likely ignore.
      Most of our nation's best marksmen and snipers, were all trained hunters and usually woodsmen, from childhood where they honed those small skills and control over many years of making those small mistakes less and less every season. It's knowing exactly when the trigger will break on every gun you own or shoot regularly, without having to think about it, there are NO SURPRISES FROM YOUR EQUIPMENT BECAUSE YOU USE IT SO OFTEN, ARE SO FAMILIAR WITH IT, AND " YOU " MAINTAIN, CLEAN N REPAIR OR OVERSEE ANY REPAIRS AND CHECK FOR FUNCTION AND PROPER ADJUSTMENTS, IF DONE BY ANOTHER. NO MATTER WHAT ANGLE YOU HOLD THAT WEAPON AT, WEATHER IT'S FULLY SEATED INTO YOUR SHOULDER BEFORE YOU NEED TO MAKE THE SHOT, YOU KNOW WHEN THAT ROUND WILL FIRE ONCE YOU START TO MOVE THAT TRIGGER, EVEN IF YOU NEED TO HOLD IT UNTIL THE SHOT IS CLEAR AGAIN, YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FARTHER IT WILL TRAVEL BEFORE IT TRIPS TO FIRE AND SEND THE ROUND, YOU KNOW ALMOST ALWAYS THE MOMENT THAT ROUND IS DISCHARGED WHETHER IT WILL, SHOULD HIT THE PLACE YOU TARGETED OR NOT, BECAUSE YOU CAN FEEL IT WHEN EVERYTHING ALIGNS AT THAT MOMENT. THAT'S WHEN YOU'VE MASTERED YOUR WEAPON, THEN YOU ALSO NEED TO MASTER YOUR CRAFT IN USING IT EFFECTIVELY IN, FOR THE MANNER, JOB IT WILL BE INTENDED TO DO, THAT'S WHEN YOU'VE BECOME A MASTER OF WHAT YU DO WITH IT, JUST LIKE A CARPENTER WITH RAZOR SHARP TOOLS ON HARD WALNUT THAT MAKES THE MOST PRECISE CUTS WITH BARELY A THOUGHT OTHER THAN WHAT HE WANTS TO ACCOMPLISH. Ayuh

      @@davidgreve1081 So I took a look @ Az's website, saw the pellet wheels, cylinders, I'd forgotten about those I remember when they came out decades ago, used on less expensive models too, they have em on sale 50% off now, if they fit her gun, not cheap for what they are, norm $100.00 holy schitzen, the air industry has its dick yeh games on things just like the Marine, and some special firearms stuff categories, but $100!!!, I can get 4 of the TOP I THE LINE 30RD MAGS FOR AN AR FOR THAT OR LESS, MAYBE 5!,
      I watched a few of the other invader killer shows after hers, and THEY MOST ALL NEED TO LEARN SHOOTING SKILLS BASICS AND DEVELOP THEM. They're like watching a bunch of high school kids dicki'n around after school, like the computer geeks with BB guns, they spend rediculous $$$ on these guns, don't really know how to use, or don't even really need such a gun for what they're doing. They're all big on shooting off hand, film their scope views, and can barely hold the crosshairs on the animal, nevermind in the kill zone and end up getting lucky, brief pass through target zone shots, use the wrong ammo or use it incorrectly. I don't even wanneh think about them running around with even .22Cal RIMFIRE rifles, give it a lil time and there's goin to be some bad accidents, def alot of stupud lil ones that can get costly real quick, and her gun is $1,500 >$2,000 depending, and not thinking it's even set up rite for what she's doing, OHHH WELLL, Ayuh

      They dig a hole, too deep for me to dig out, and lay about 30-60 eggs annually from march to may. They prefer sandy areas to dig their nest and will steal, share, and dig out each others nests leaving eggs all over the ground...because they are dufuses💁

      Soft lead pellets deform a lot on impact with a hard surface, therefore dissipating most of their energy, so they don't bounce back nearly as hard as a bb. If the surface is super hard like steel, they don't bounce back at all.

    It seems to me that shooting hollow point slugs has many advantages over diablo pellets.
    Hollow point slugs pass thru the air more cleanly than diablo pellets, this means less deviation by the wind and delivering more energy to the target.
    Hollow point slugs lose more energy on impact because they distort more, so even if there is a pass thru the projectile has less energy afterwards, and of course more energy deposited in the target makes bigger wound area.
