They dig a hole, too deep for me to dig out, and lay about 30-60 eggs annually from march to may. They prefer sandy areas to dig their nest and will steal, share, and dig out each others nests leaving eggs all over the ground...because they are dufuses💁
I was amazed that pellet came back at you. It went through the Iguana’s head, hit the wood post and came back at you. Didn’t realize the gun was so powerful.
I shot a wood post when I was a kid, watched the bb go hit the post then watched it come right back and nailed me between the eyes. Never shot a wood post again and 40 years later still have two eyes.
@@garymurt9112 Gary, That is pretty good shooting to get hit between the eyes. You made a good decision not to shoot at at wood posts for eye safety purposes. It’s a good story to reinforce gun safety.
Soft lead pellets deform a lot on impact with a hard surface, therefore dissipating most of their energy, so they don't bounce back nearly as hard as a bb. If the surface is super hard like steel, they don't bounce back at all.
I was plinking with a friend in his garden when he shot at a snooker ball, it came back at him real fast but he dodged it before it got him. I tend now to avoid solid targets or backstops unless at an angle for the fear of rebounds.
Not cumbersome, just what she should be using, she shoots to much offhand for the conditions and her skill level. I started shooting competitively at age ten, and won my share of matches in outdoor matches with a common kids .22 against all commers and ages, so yeah I know more than a bit about all types of shooting, incl long range varmint hunting, Ayuh

We hunted jack rabbits in the 50's and 60's because they were destroying the alfalfa where I lived. People don't understand the damage can be done by invasive animals.
Talking about grain size, pressure, wind direction and degrees of rise, as well as, backstops and humane shots makes me think your upping your professionalism. ...Nice work for the park.
Watching your videos reminds me of when I was a kid, shooting evasive black birds up here in Tennessee with my Crosman .22 pump, I had so much fun eradicating those pests, must have killed a truck load of them! Keep the videos coming, so much fun watching.
Great job as usual ! I can see how changing the power level is important for where you operate . Pretty tight quarters to shoot, but you handle it like the pro you are !
It seems to me that shooting hollow point slugs has many advantages over diablo pellets. Hollow point slugs pass thru the air more cleanly than diablo pellets, this means less deviation by the wind and delivering more energy to the target. Hollow point slugs lose more energy on impact because they distort more, so even if there is a pass thru the projectile has less energy afterwards, and of course more energy deposited in the target makes bigger wound area.
Hiya you could save yourself a lot of misses just by using a set of shooting sticks the Primos shooting sticks are fully adjustable just by a pull on a trigger they go up and down etc and they would really help your shooting

NO MATTER WHAT ANGLE YOU HOLD THAT WEAPON AT, WEATHER IT'S FULLY SEATED INTO YOUR SHOULDER BEFORE YOU NEED TO MAKE THE SHOT, YOU KNOW WHEN THAT ROUND WILL FIRE ONCE YOU START TO MOVE THAT TRIGGER, EVEN IF YOU NEED TO HOLD IT UNTIL THE SHOT IS CLEAR AGAIN, YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FARTHER IT WILL TRAVEL BEFORE IT TRIPS TO FIRE AND SEND THE ROUND, YOU KNOW ALMOST ALWAYS THE MOMENT THAT ROUND IS DISCHARGED WHETHER IT WILL, SHOULD HIT THE PLACE YOU TARGETED OR NOT, BECAUSE YOU CAN FEEL IT WHEN EVERYTHING ALIGNS AT THAT MOMENT. THAT'S WHEN YOU'VE MASTERED YOUR WEAPON, THEN YOU ALSO NEED TO MASTER YOUR CRAFT IN USING IT EFFECTIVELY IN, FOR THE MANNER, JOB IT WILL BE INTENDED TO DO, THAT'S WHEN YOU'VE BECOME A MASTER OF WHAT YU DO WITH IT, JUST LIKE A CARPENTER WITH RAZOR SHARP TOOLS ON HARD WALNUT THAT MAKES THE MOST PRECISE CUTS WITH BARELY A THOUGHT OTHER THAN WHAT HE WANTS TO ACCOMPLISH. @@dalehill559 She needs extra ones to carry with her , because sometimes she is quite aways away from her truck when she runs out of pellet cylinders.
@@davidgreve1081 So I took a look @ Az's website, saw the pellet wheels, cylinders, I'd forgotten about those I remember when they came out decades ago, used on less expensive models too, they have em on sale 50% off now, if they fit her gun, not cheap for what they are, norm $100.00 holy schitzen, the air industry has its dick yeh games on things just like the Marine, and some special firearms stuff categories, but $100!!!, I can get 4 of the TOP I THE LINE 30RD MAGS FOR AN AR FOR THAT OR LESS, MAYBE 5!,
I watched a few of the other invader killer shows after hers, and THEY MOST ALL NEED TO LEARN SHOOTING SKILLS BASICS AND DEVELOP THEM. They're like watching a bunch of high school kids dicki'n around after school, like the computer geeks with BB guns, they spend rediculous $$$ on these guns, don't really know how to use, or don't even really need such a gun for what they're doing. They're all big on shooting off hand, film their scope views, and can barely hold the crosshairs on the animal, nevermind in the kill zone and end up getting lucky, brief pass through target zone shots, use the wrong ammo or use it incorrectly. I don't even wanneh think about them running around with even .22Cal RIMFIRE rifles, give it a lil time and there's goin to be some bad accidents, def alot of stupud lil ones that can get costly real quick, and her gun is $1,500 >$2,000 depending, and not thinking it's even set up rite for what she's doing, OHHH WELLL, Ayuh
Nice !!!! I would not want to be a iguana any where around you.......you put them down every time. Keep up the great work.
enjoyed watching,great placed shots !
Jessica you and Reaper are doing it up great shots , and jess invest in another clip for Reaper that way you will always be ready to drop them iguanas .
#gotchuiguana
Yes my friend...they are on backorder i am told
@@iguanaSnipers Well jess I hope that you get them soon keep them iguanas in your crosshairs +
Jessica, you are amazing and an inspiration to women everywhere!
Thank you!
Do you not think she is not an inspiration to tons of men everywhere too?
Jessica how do you determine the charge per customer, is it per Iguana killed?? I love your work I am from the panhandle of Texas up by Amarillo. We don't have anything like that around here. Thanks and Great video
in scotland, no guns no knifes, im qualified to conceal a spoon!
Id rather be shot than killed somehow with a spoon😅
I'm just curious but where do the iguanas lay their eggs? In the trees around the ground?
@@garymurt9112 The pellet went through the Iguana's head before hitting the post. I would have thought that would have taken most of the energy.
I was plinking with a friend in his garden when he shot at a snooker ball, it came back at him real fast but he dodged it before it got him. I tend now to avoid solid targets or backstops unless at an angle for the fear of rebounds.
This bird is all business a real pro and a pleasure to watch her work.
Ever tried a monopod or shooting sticks? With as quickly as you move, it might be too cumbersome, but it sure would make a stable platform.
❤️ my Varmint Knocker 32.8 grain .25 caliber pellets in my FX Wildcat 25 pcp. They're great for feral cats.
I think the skins would make some great 1911 grip panels
This looks like a rad job. Thanks for sharing.
A modern day Annie Oakley! It is great to see someone who really enjoys their work.
Well one thing about it, Florida is full of Iguana’s you sure got plenty to shot at that’s for sure. I’m surprised that you haven’t had the cops called on you when you’re out shooting in open places. Great job shooting I will have to check out one of them XR’s they look like a lot of fun to shoot.??👍❤️
My Hero Huntress in action again
Aww shucks🤗
We hunted jack rabbits in the 50's and 60's because they were destroying the alfalfa where I lived. People don't understand the damage can be done by invasive animals.
Talking about grain size, pressure, wind direction and degrees of rise, as well as, backstops and humane shots makes me think your upping your professionalism. ...Nice work for the park.
Thanks. I am trying to learn to use my equipment with the most knowledge and safest practices in mind
Watching your videos reminds me of when I was a kid, shooting evasive black birds up here in Tennessee with my Crosman .22 pump, I had so much fun eradicating those pests, must have killed a truck load of them! Keep the videos coming, so much fun watching.
Thanks so much for watching...sounds like a fun childhood❤🦎❤
I hope you get paid for doing this. You are doing a great justice to the environment.
"Target is dispatched" LOL
Great job as usual ! I can see how changing the power level is important for where you operate . Pretty tight quarters to shoot, but you handle it like the pro you are !
Thanks I appreciate the kind words!❤🦎❤
It seems to me that shooting hollow point slugs has many advantages over diablo pellets.
Hollow point slugs pass thru the air more cleanly than diablo pellets, this means less deviation by the wind and delivering more energy to the target.
Hollow point slugs lose more energy on impact because they distort more, so even if there is a pass thru the projectile has less energy afterwards, and of course more energy deposited in the target makes bigger wound area.
I'm taking your word for it. Uh-huh.
Hiya you could save yourself a lot of misses just by using a set of shooting sticks the Primos shooting sticks are fully adjustable just by a pull on a trigger they go up and down etc and they would really help your shooting
Truth , I e got the Jim Shockey stick from Primos and you’re on the target in seconds with the adjustment triggers on it, Lickety Split!
@@jpjp2328 Ayuh, best bet next to another solid rest like a vehicle with a towel on it etc
They're actually great eating. As an undergrad I did field research in San Blas (Kuna Yala) Panama, they were hard to come by. Because, they were killed on sight for the pot!
In Belize they call them "river chicken".
