Wow ! Nice upgrades . I also have a Beluga and love it. I am planning to buy another one to convert it to a faster rally / off road type car. Can I just replace the motor to brushless one to make it faster and use the stock esc or I need to change the esc also. And will I notice a big difference in speed with this brushless motor upgrade .
Hi there. For a brushless motor you need a new ESC. The stock one only works with brushed motors. The replacement is simple. Every motor with the screwholes like a 540 or 550 motor will fit into it. But you need a fire heater to melt the threadlock before removing the grub screw in the pinion. The other question's not so easy. Because of the motor size you'll find a ton of fast BL motors. At the same time yoi also have to move a car with over 3 kg. So a fast motor might not have the power to move the crawler as fast as race car which almost weights only a third of the Beluga. Kn addition on many rallye events you have to run behind the car, handling is more crucial than speed. And we don't even have meant the suspension. The Beluga has to be converted to a more stiff chassis. Suspension arms, shocks, wheels, etc. Everything has to be changed. In my mind you also need double-wishbone suspension on each wheel, no portals but at the same time differentials. Your conversion to a rallye car's agreat idea and more kind of a bigger project. Let me know how it works, this is ver interesting for me. BTW I'll get a new crawler with a Hobbywing Fusion set-up. For one of my presentations about it, a speed test is planned. It's not comparable 1 by 1, but maybe the performance in 4WD high gear might give you an idea, if it's usable. Unfortunately this video'll come in December. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@RCBirds Thanks so much for your comprehensive reply . I'm a newbie and has learned alotfrom your reply. Well, my planned rally conversion of the BELUGA is just for my own satisfaction and not really meant for competition.I just so love the car that I want a faster version of it for playing around. @allansoria3478 the BL should improve tge speed a little bit. As a crawler I normaly don't use this gear. But it might give you a nice impression of what the car's capable. Hi.
Nice video, i grab my beluga for £146 from AliExpress and i love it. What tire size did you ordered? I ordered 120mm and they rub alot. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. Ali was out, because the shipping fees're too high. The rires hav an diameter of 120 mm. I ordered them by the siz of the rims 1.9 inch. Next week I'll do the first big run and'll have an eye on the rubbing. Parts list'll be added this weekend.

Yupp, somehow. I found out, that there're two further clones. The Absima Bronx, but this's almost at the price tlike the TRX and RGT has one. The last one's more close to the Vanquish Phoenix. And if you don't care about differentials, telemetry and WiFi the HB's a great alternative.

Nice video, i grab my beluga for £146 from AliExpress and i love it. What tire size did you ordered? I ordered 120mm and they rub alot. Any chance you can you will put all upgrade parts in description? Im planning to upgrade receiver but still need to figure out the lights. Thank you and have nice Christmas.
Thank you for replying. My for my rig is £300 and I fit in it new 35kg servo, differential upgrade for unlock and lock, ISDT70 ECS and new receiver.
@@tomaskonkol8894 cool, thanks for the tip. This opens a lot of possibilities, I hadn't thought about yet.
Please link the roof lights. They look good!
Thank you. They're from Injora for the TRX4 new Bronco. You can get them there or over their amazon shop.

Is this that trx clone?
Good everyone should copy traxxas, just to piss them off. Bullies!!
Have great holiday season my friend
Yupp, somehow. I found out, that there're two further clones. The Absima Bronx, but this's almost at the price tlike the TRX and RGT has one. The last one's more close to the Vanquish Phoenix. And if you don't care about differentials, telemetry and WiFi the HB's a great alternative.
