    I have the same case and my initial plan is to remove the impacted tooth but after 3 years of braces, my dentist convinced me to slowly pull the tooth instead. Last year she put a bracket on it surgically then after a year of pain, my teeth are finally complete. I’m 31 years old and waited for this moment for a really ling time. 😊

    I have just had my two inverted canine teeth impacted in maxillary removed under GA. At first, we decided to use LA but I changed my mind just one day before surgery as I realized this surgery was going to be seriously tough and difficult yeah the doctor also acknowledged that my case is very rare only after performing the surgery coz they didn't want to scare me.The operation time lasted over two hours. I couldn't imagine if I went through this surgery under LA , GA was the best option for me. For the sake of the professionalism of surgeons and standard medical technology, my surgery was successfully done .Although I am having a little bit discomfort and pain, which is bearable, the injection of pain killer medicine through IV does help me endure the pain. Pray me for speedy recovery.......

      @Sarcasticboiy_ you should get these two impacted canine removed as soon as possible . The older you are, the more difficult to extract them out as they are stuck in your bone not in the place they should be .so they are recognized as foreign bodies which can give you unexpected risks for example forming cyst the worst part is they potentially turn into tumor. Honestly, I had also got my 4 impacted wisdom teeth 3 days ago I'm still healing . So now totally I got 6 impacted teeth extracted out what a disaster !So my advice is to get removed by dental professionals before it gets too late

    Hello sir, is it advisable to place some bone graft inside the socket sir???

  • @siqxyre8473
    @siqxyre8473 Месяц назад

    I had a similar procedure! Tooth was stuck alll the way up in my pallete, only exposed via a minuscule bit of bone sticking out through my gum.
    so I went to a surgeon to get it exposed and a chain put onto it :]
    They ran out of nitrous and I didn’t want to be put under, so they just numbed me and did it while I was fully awake LOL. I think they were freaked out by how calm I was, and how every time they took the tools out of my mouth I just started talking with them.
    Procedure went well though!
    I do have another impacted tooth but that one isn’t worth the risk of surgery, too far away to move to the front of my mouth anyways, so it’s just left up in there. It’s completely on its side.

    Ang galing bata at matapang. Naalala ko ung sa wisdom ko binunot dito sa Saudi sobrang tagal matapos. Regular na bunot lng talaga sobrang hirap ang doctor sa laki niyang un parang maubos pwersa nya. Parang naabot ng 15mins or more pa ung bunot. Medyo feel ko na ang sakit sa kakauga nya dhil sa tagas. Bandang huli tinignan nya ang X-ray ko until natanggal ipin. Tsaka sinabi mahirap dw matanggal ksi naka curve . Pasalamat siya mataas ang pain tolerance ko at di ako nahimatay sa tagal😅parang want ko na siya suntukin eh. Alam ko ksi if curve ang ipin need e surgery pero sa case ko di nya ata maigi tinignan.
    Iba talaga ang passion ng Pinoy na doctor kesa sa arabo na un.

    Doc, what precautions or medications you advised to treat bone necrosis cased by high speed air-rotor handpiece used for bone removal?

    • @CJ-xk5ci
      @CJ-xk5ci 2 года назад

      Any oral surgeon will tell you copious and constant irrigation… and probably also to use an electric hand piece like a Stryker. Air shouldn’t be blowing onto the site thru the hand piece because that’s a no-no. Best treatment is prevention.

    • @AhmedFathy-lt6wl
      @AhmedFathy-lt6wl Год назад +1

      Bone will necrose at 47 degrees Celsius, basically you're using the handpiece without irrigation so it overheats.
      Necrotic and sharp bone is removed and smoothened before sutures.

    • @AhmedFathy-lt6wl
      @AhmedFathy-lt6wl Год назад

      @@CJ-xk5ci Added to this, the handpiece used here is not the usual dental handpiece, its called a 45 degree handpiece, the air comes out from the sides of the head, unlike the normal handpiece.

    • @CJ-xk5ci
      @CJ-xk5ci Год назад

      @@AhmedFathy-lt6wl yea, I’m familiar with the hand piece used, I use them for perio surgeries primarily. I mentioned the Stryker because I had previously mentioned what an oral surgeon would say - most OMFS I know giggle at the use of air driven high speed hand pieces in OS procedures. I have a feeling they would also say there’s still a risk of pneumatization with the side vented hand piece.
