There was a jazz vocalist in the 1950's - Beverly Kenney (sp?). She had the same sound as Stacey Kent. And when I first heard Stacey, I was struck by their similarity. I was raised on good music like this, ( I'm now 70), and the daughter of two musicians..anyway this was a delight. I have been a Marcos Valle fan for years - this tune never gets old, huh? The cool thing is - just when you think you couldn't possibly hear another version of it..Valle does it in concert, or with another singer, and there it is, reborn!! Great music, thanks all.

She's great: beautiful voice, perfect intonation, timing, phrasing and feeling. Plus, she's completely natural: zero "glamorous" diva attitude (which sadly is so usual among female jazz singers, even among some of those who are far from this good). I already loved Marcos' music, now I also love Stacy Kent's singing. Regards from an uruguayan guy.
