Just as long as I'm in the right era. I'll be tuning into this game channel. I remember when I was listening and watching the 1980 rated PG Japanese cartoon movie; it's called the Castle of Cagliostro. Lupin was the principle character for this story. The count flew the autogyro; it was most popularity used during the 1920s. This was during the time when Lupin was trying to rescue Princess Clarisse. The Interpol Inspector Zanigata had to get involved in this situation. Professor Jigen was definitely on Lupin's side in this story.
I find this game really hard -- the vertical viewport is truncated by that useless scanner, the player hitbox is huge, and unusually for a vertical SHMUP/STG, there are impassable obstacles poking into the airspace. All these factors make it somewhat claustrophobic and difficult to maneuver around the playfield. But it has very nice graphics and music and some whacky ideas, like the nets and trebuchets. I was very impressed by this game when I saw it as a teenager.

こんなかっこいい曲だったんですね。ネオジオ以前のSNKとして注目すべき。
今思えば原始島のスタッフと同じ方たちが作ったのかな？
あと、敵が投石器運用してるのが印象に残ってる(笑)
実際、投石器でヘリとか航空機落とせるんですか？
小坊のころ自宅からちょっと離れた駄菓子屋で当時のダチがこれプレイしてたな。
「ここで止めれば、君はただの負け犬だ」が今でも記憶に新しい。
…ちなみに投石器はヘリコプターを落とすには竹ヤリよりは現実的な武器かと。
投石器では無理ですが、ロープを牽引した弓(ボーガン)をヘリのテイルローターめがけて撃ち込んで、撃墜(というかスピンからの失速)した例はベトナム戦争で実際にありました。たしかマスターキートンという漫画で同じエピソードが題材になってたと思います。違ってたらすみません。
彼らが同じプリミティブ・アイザランドのスタッフになるかどうかはわかりませんが、そうかもしれません。

『究極タイガー』の難易度を下げて、少々まったり風味にしたゲームなのが災いしたかなあ･･････。EDは悪くないんだけど。
曲での最終面とラスボスの盛り上がりを越えうる作品は未だ少ない
