My husband was a long haul trucker and he liked it. Unfortunately he lost his life to it, but died loving what he did. I enjoy your stories a lot. Keep them coming when ever you can.
My dad almost died, his load jackknifed and he had a split second decision to go over a bridge and potentially die with his dog, or allow that to jackknifed and possibly kill the cars behind it. I’m so sorry for your loss, but he didn’t die in vain and that’s what matters💖
@@slickmuck4312U guys were great during Coof, and in the Netherlands. Our truckers tried something similar in the States but somehow the “most popular president ever’s” admin managed to squelch it and shut it down, I think, cuz there was no coverage of it, even on sosh media. Least not that I saw. Wonder what happened. Anyways, cheers!
I come for the stories and stay for the rants. You are way too hard on yourself man. You put out a ton of content and the quality is top shelf. Love it all! 🫶🏼
Not a trucker but homeless and know that scene and worse, so. Plz believe me you can never be too carefull and can never be nice enough, so plz do whatever you have to do to make it home, no matter where that is. Thank you for the content. It is great for my misealy data.
I'm so glad I found your channel! Your voice is so smooth and relaxing. I have you playing in the background while I'm at work (thank God I work from home 😂) And My favorite parts are the very end when you just start BS-ing, joking around, and making me laugh unexpectedly. Please don't stop!
Booze and Boos, you probably see this comment a lot, but thank you for talking like a normal person and not having your audio tweaked out of orbit. Seriously, I've turned down several narrators because of this no matter how great the stories were and it's so nice finally to have found one that's proper. 👍
Thank you for the. awesome stories. You can read so well, you make me feel like a little kid. Being read is story and the very next thing I know is I’m waking up. I’m so bad, I can’t even listen to you during the day because I’m falling asleep all over the place. I’m not working anymore because of rheumatoid arthritis but if I was I’d be asleep at work. I have to listen to the stories twice sometimes three times to hear them all. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Great stories. The last one is my fave. Wisdom and experience are the best teachers. Some people don't get to grow up and fully realize that. Listen to your elders. They do know better.
these stories always grab my attention because my father has been a trucker (longhaul and local, alternatively) for the majority of the past 26 years, and it's both fascinating and sometimes scary to think that he may have had similar experiences, especially knowing the stories he HAS shared with me.
In the first story not carrying a fire arm and next getting out by yourself to inspect another vehicle at night was asking for anything/everything to go HUMANLY WRONG!!!
After he finished inspecting his truck and made it a point that the van driver was discovered. I would of drove off. Why stick around even if tired. A fool.
Thankyou for bringing food to the store so I can ear. Thankyou for bringing gas so I can drive to work. Thankyou for bringing meds to the drug store so I stay healthy. Keep on trucking we all love ya.
Been listening for a couple of days and liked the stories. Thought it about time I step up and help you out. So now I'm subbed, liked, alarmed and as you see commented. Now onto my next two sets of stories. lol
The jake / richard story made me laugh you narrate these stories so well I can't believe how you can make something so weird sound funny and kind of comical you're doing a great job I love your channel
Great stories,My husband and I were husband and wife team(truckers). In the couple years that I worked with him we have seen some really messed up shit.Ghost are real and evil is always traveling the highways. Was glad to go back home and stay there.Sadly my husband 4 years later had passed away due to a bad trucking accident.😢I thank all truck drivers for there service they provide for all of us.If you can see it,wear it,eat it,or buy it..Thank a truck driver. Its a hard job and a dangerous job.I keep them in my prayers at night❤
I've been out here 7 years, and seen some crazy stuff. Couple years ago in Iowa i rolled up on 4 trucks that had been blown over to high winds. Winters are even worse and honestly breaks some drivers who think they want to do this. I appreciate the videos!
I drove in Utah during the winter of '83 when it snowed so much that they couldn't keep the roads clear. One time I was sliding and jack-knifing down a steep mountain road with a 1000 ft. cliff on the drivers side. The truck driver ahead of me was also sliding and jumped out of his truck ( double trailer coal ) before it went over the cliff, while I somehow kept my truck on the road. This was far more frieghtening than dealing with any psycho ( my 2 best friends, Smith and Wesson, keep me safe ).
Booze and Boos, I enjoy your channel. Southern Cannibal may have more subscribers than you at the moment, but you have way more commenters on your videos. More power to ya!
Yes i definitely enjoyed these stories. Its the first time ive visited and im damn thankful that i did, Liked and Subscribed and am going to listen to more of your stuff right now!
The only time I ever hitchhiked was in the late 70s with my then-girlfriend-- New England. No problem, back then. Later, I picked up 2 or 3 hitchhikers in the 80s, one guy whose car had broken down on his way to work. I took him all the way to his factory. He was so glad.
I was a OTR trucker thru all lower 48 and into Canada, hauled frozen/refrigerated and Dry Van . 16 years , most scared I ever felt was in Wyoming it was winter and around 2am I pulled up into a rest area only 2 were there a nice Peterbuilt running and a black hatch back car, I hurried to the ladies … while I sat down I hear a chain saw fire up just on the other side of the wall at that point I felt fear like I have never felt b4 I didn’t flush but quietly got outa there because I knew no reason anyone would be using a chainsaw, I got into my truck and looked at the Peterbuilt and the black hatch back car, I called 911 told them to please get out there as something was going on and I was scared and getting out of there. Next morning I saw on news where a old couple who husband drove the Peterbuilt were disembodied no person arrested I wish I had taken a pic of the black car and Peterbuilt but I was terrified and just wanted to get away. I don’t know if that poor couple ever got their case solved I sure hope they did.
In regards to the last story, hitchhiking is illegal in Ontario. The driver and the hitcher can both be charged. It's a roadway safety issue for the hitcher, the driver and other drivers on the roads.
I’m planning to be a trucker when I grow up, and I would never travel without a shotgun, a rifle, a nine millimeter, a colt 45, and some kind of semi/ fully automatic rifle/ smg. And of course my hockey stick.
I'm a trucker enjoying these stories. Just began trucking 6 years ago. Im praying our dangerous jobs will motivate people to write for more funds to go to the drivers instead of Brokers. I was getting paid $900 and the broker was getting $2,500. Its a shame what I've been hearing and seeing since all this can be done on a keyboard....and doesn't need a 3rd person to skim money off a good drivers pay.
I kinda wanna be a trucker chick. Honestly, I think Art Bell is ringing deep within my subconscious and stopping me from doing so;-) God Bless the hard working Americans that make our country run, which includes the truckers!
Truckers , especially those who travel at night, see some of the absolute wildest things. My husband has been a trucker for over 25 years and he has seen things that are out of nightmares.
I'm a trucker. You wanna know true horror? Try brushing your teeth at the TA in Barstow when there's an ass on every shitter. Guys perched on their dumps like they're trying to hatch a golden egg. Why the hell don't y'all flush ... tryna brush my teeth ... oh god it stanks ... gagging ... gassy morning ambience ... trucker horrors
My husband was a trucker, and so was my father and my brother. I've heard all kinds of stories over the decades! 😬
Same! My father's a trucker also had two uncles who were, and a cousin who is. Lots of stories, they've seen and heard a lot.
Please send them in! They're the best!

For some reason trucker stories are totally fascinating to me!
Thanks to all you truckers out there.

Thank you for your kindness and God Bless!
Very sorry about your husband…

I’m so sorry for your loss, but he didn’t die in vain and that’s what matters💖
I say thank you to all the truckers . We appreciate your work and sacrifices. God bless you .
Yes, we couldn't do it without them and the farmers!
AND ranchers!
Most importantly Jesus!

Without truckers doing what they do, this country would grind to a halt. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for doing what you do.
I always let trucker right of way
Yeah, every country relies on truckers - it's a very underrated job in the UK!
Well thank you ❤. I’m a Trucker from Canada
