You can also get a piece of a terrorizer set equipment grey quality, synthesis it to purple quality then dismantle it, it gives you back multiple gems and blueprints. And repeat. Blue or green quality works also just less reward when dismantled. This way i think is a little faster but by exactly how much faster is debatable, along with check cost gem amount nd speed ups used.
