Appreciate the content, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking the easy rush of materials at the beginning will always be like that. Have to plan and save. It's like getting paid every 3 months, it feels like a lot when the check hits, but reality sets in at month 2+ lol
Busy week my friend. Today was the first day I had any real time to record. I even re-recorded this one just to make sure the quality was good for everyone :)
Finalmente...tava esperando por mais vídeos. Vou escrever na nativa mesmo que assim lhe induz a aprender mais um idioma para conversar com seus colegas de trabalho kkkkk
lol I actually like that you write in your native language. I can read some of it, but do still have to translate some words I don't know or phrases that are unfamiliar to me. I haven't had to actively speak outside of English in probably 15 years so it's fun for me to relearn a bit. Keep it up!
@@16BitBear The words that you cannot understand as slang or unusual, you tell me and I will explain the context and meaning here. Knowledge is always good and I'm here to help too. Congratulations on another top video. Keep up the great work, bro
Hi, good video, quick question, I got 2 lvl 40 newborn blade, if I wanna level up star by sacrificing one of it as fodder, will I get back all the dust I have been used? Ty
I just did a test, FOR SCIENCE! I did a couple levels on two gold items, fed the one to the other, no dust is refunded and the levels I put into the other item did not transfer over. So the only thing that I received was a star.
@16BitBear welp, that was too harsh, dev should at least transfer exp over or give us back 50% dust, and there are so much dev need to improve, like reduce the cost mats needed for lower class gear and unit, cuz this the only gacha game I can enjoy using lower gear and unit for killing bosses, anyway thx for your test, got u new subs here!
A bit unrelated, but since you brought up favorites, and since units are so important in this kind of game, do you have any favorite units/classes in other games like FFT (aside from obviously Agrias) that are guiding your teambuilding plans? And any characters you’re excited for? Like I love summoners and dragoons, so I’m really interested in Homa, Acambe, and Iggy.
I other FF types games I'm partial to things like Red Mages, Dragoons, or Monks; and in things like FE I like wyvern riders and dancers. Beyond that I have a love for engineering type classes or anything that strikes me as Alchemy in nature. For SoC, on artwork alone I like and will likely pull for Auguste (big sword dude), maybe Cocoa (reminds me of an alchemist, though I think she's a cook), Acambe because that artwork is incredible, and Momo I want to off banner. If they had a summoner that was one of my main classes in FFXIV so I'd be all over that.
@@16BitBear Yeah, Momo looks like a lot of fun! I’m really tempted to pull on her upcoming dual banner since NonoWill has such a strong aura for so many powerhouses. Homa, Beryl, Auguste, Tristan, Rawiyah Alter, and Caris is a nutty lineup to give 10% skill damage to. As far as summoners, Homa makes me excited to see what else they’ll come up with. Love that she can use her birds to become a main dps herself or share them with an ally to buff and support attack/heal for them. Acambe attacking with piles of gold and using summoned units as meatshields is hilarious, but Homa just feels like an archetypal summoner and a jack of all trades. Though she lacks those warlock vibes that FFT summoners have, summoning up these horrifying, uncaring (or just not animated for budget/tech constraints) entities that just clear or buff part of the map.
The mount of money one needs is A Lot! :) Actually I were totaly shocked, because normaly(in the games i have played) the gold is just a fancy thing to collect but here one actually needs it.. I had achivement where I have spend 5 million .. and I think after that I collect and spend like 1mil .. and now I have 200 gold left. because upgradin tarots to lvl60 and weapons and what not.. installing one legendary engraving is 30 000 each time you try... etc
Thanks for the video! I also bought the battlepass for the dust and for a weapon for Gloria. I think is worth it in the beggining. I'm interested to know how you find your balance between gaming, family and work. Can you share with us what is your philosophy? Looks like you keep everything in perfect balance and I would like to know how you do it ❤
Definitely not perfectly balanced all the time lol. What I generally do is designate a few moments a day for YT comments (such as before work, lunch, and before bed), game time is mainly after the kids go to bed but on the weekends I can slide in a little extra time. Videos are mostly after they go to be as well and I have to chose the content I cover as a result of limited time. Like last week I had almost a full gap in content as it was just a really busy parenting week. Occasionally I'll have a bit of inspiration and try to slide a video out if I have a gap in work or home life. I'm actually still really working on the balance. That said, most dreams have some sacrifice, so mainly I cut other things like tv shows or other games to use the time for content creation.
@@16BitBear Thanks for taking your time to answer! ❤. I can feel the struggle now hahaha. Video content is very good given the amount of time you can afford to make them. Just curious, what other games are you looking forward?
On PC I play Diablo IV, but am taking a break until the new expansion hits, also need to finish the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. PS5/Switch is mainly for RPGs. I am getting relatively close to the end of Persona 3 Reload and they have DLC coming soon. And then my other big one this year is Metaphore ReFantazio (however you spell it). In the gatcha space I'll likely cover the Persona 5 X game when it comes to global, and Neverness to Everness looks promissing. I'm curious, of those two gatchas do either interest you, or others coming soon to global you are interested in?
I never played a Persona game. I heard a lot about them but never really try it. Do you recommend one for a start? About the new Gatcha, they do look good. Unfortunately I have my hands full. 2 Genshin accounts + Sword of Convalaria leaves me not much time for other offline games that I want to play like Baldurs Gate. Btw, did you played Genshin? if so, how was your experience?
I took a break from gatchas after Dissidia Final Fantasy and caught up on some console/pc games for a time. For Persona, I would rank as Persona 3 Reload is the easiest, but still very modern in it's presentation for a remake, good story. Persona 5 Royal is the most fun mechanically for me, though all recent entries are roughly similar. It's a good entry point. Persona 4 Golden is my favorite of the stories, but will be the most dated looking though that doesn't bother me at all. If you get into one, don't look up guides unless you go no spoiler guides. You want the story to be a surprise in these.
Favorite character you know how to strategize (like my gloria☺️) with I get. They will get maxed things but the number is 40 for everyone else weapon unless you have one at a star level for a legendary weapon at 3 or 4 stars. 5 stars epic weapons are better then all 1 star legendary SKILL wise. Stats will only be like 20 pt difference legendarys if that.
But later on star trial required like 10 gold one just to increase atk from lv 4 to 5 and around 20 gold stars from lv 9 to 10 while doing the stage without extra reward only gives 1-2 randomly. And this is only from gold to platinum, there's still radiance one 😂 It basically the same. Both talent and gear upgrade is insane. Specifically talent is the most expensive out of everything. It probably gated so hard because it is a permanent global upgrade.
Love your calm and collected style of narration!
Like and comment to support, awesome content and really nice guide!
Thank you Johny, I appreciate it.

I’ve been taking weapons to 58 except the two I needed for the voyage moments quest. 58-60 alone is 80k dust, yikes.
man this is so detail yet easy to understand! love it!
Thank you, I’m glad you liked it.
16 Bit Bear, I'm hooked on your videos, keep them rolling

Another great video ;) Thank you for enlightening us. I’m having hard time to decide as well lol xD
I feel like I’m doing a mini challenge run by delaying my upgrades and Star combines lol.
Haven’t had time to watch, but obligatory comment for the algo.

Yeah, it goes quick as you hit the higher levels. It’s so cheap early that I think it’ll catch many off guard.

I always combined weapon. Trinkets on the other hand will depend on the ability.
Yeah trinkets for sure should be thought of before combining.
You can farm likes (kudos) while helping your guildmates with the current event.
True True, we've been cranking the new guild event. Been fun seeing other's videos and such they post in guild channel.

Yeah I only recently started pushing to level 50 for units that are always around, or favorites, but even then I do it with caution first.
Gear upgrading tip - Pray for gold.
May it rain upon you :)
I kept my denial Hammers separated. Need as many units available to knock people off the stage lol
I swear, KB off stage is like my favorite mechanic just for fun.
I love it as well, too many enemies with primary immunity later in the game ruining my fun 😂
i'm stuck on 1-17
I would rather farm star trial. The dust required for 40 onwards is insane.
I do the daily extra reward on that one too (I do all of them).
But later on star trial required like 10 gold one just to increase atk from lv 4 to 5 and around 20 gold stars from lv 9 to 10 while doing the stage without extra reward only gives 1-2 randomly. And this is only from gold to platinum, there's still radiance one 😂

Gold is the real issue
I’m starting to see where that’ll be the case, especially now with engraving.
