I appreciate the transparency in these episodes. To listen to the B-17 episode than go to this episode is amazing how far we have come in war fighting capabilities.
This was a really good episode, been trying to speculate on the future of air combat for a sci-fi series i'm writing, and hearing experts speculating is so much more more helpful than most of writing related channels i see.
"There's a DC to Light spectrum and you're not invisible in all spectrums." Well said. Sandboxx's analysis of low band search radar easily demonstrates that no LO aircraft (except maybe the B2) can penetrate an area covered with search radar. The Mighty Dragon is a significant threat although I don't know anything about it's weapon systems.
Great episode! Your episodes are always very good and enjoyable, but the last three have been really great.👍 (OK, it has partly been about things I work/-ed with, so I'm slightly biased)
Awesome to hear from Cathrine, I hope she like so many of us here keep enjoying this great content! As always keept it up Jell-O and the rest of the team!
I know it's a WW2 plane, so it's pretty old, but I would love to see an episode on the ME 163 Komet. Maybe even just a segment in a WW2 German planes episode would be good too.
@@FighterPilotPodcast uhh most of those guys went 6 feet under with the 163, but as the youth flew them, there’s one out there… but you don’t have long sadly.
The DOD contractors have to do a better job of keeping our secrets and vetting/investigating it’s workers. Pink mentioned the theft of tech-it’s the main reason for the slight pessimistic overview, in my opinion. Our taxes, our weapon systems!
space force has exactly zero combat vehicles. every launch is doen by space x or ula, and the payloads were in the works by the airforce or with lockhead/honeywell/northrop contracts
Lance "Pink" Floyd has to have the coolest callsign/name combo ever!

This is my first time catching a new episode, thanks Jello and the crew.
You're welcome!

Great stuff once again. The text message at the end was quite touching.
Right? I hear from many people but a ballet dancer was a new one.
Great job gentlemen, was sure brave of him to talk about his DUI. You never know, maybe it took his career in a better direction.
It’s difficult to say “everything happens for a reason” without sounding trite, but he seems to be making the best of his journey.
Really good episode. I enjoyed it immensely.
Good episode. Special thanks for Cathrine's call.

Great interview!
sounds like the NGAD or 7th gen might be a command and control platform that assists a small group of UCVs
You guys are way to cool great stuff

If you can find a suitable guest for the interview, send him/her our way.

Kabuki show is a very unique experience.
Maybe, but what does that have to do with this?
A top secret classified comic book. Too cool. So in TGM Hammer was actually right?

Oh come on, the content starts at 0:00! 🤩

Planned for our 2023 episodes as we pivot to video.
Ahhh I want to listen. Got to have video though.
Just started moving into the new studio yesterday. Hold that thought...
@@FighterPilotPodcast I’m new here. Just found you a week ago. This thought I shall hold.
See you soon!!

Yup. 🤞
Don't be embarrassed Jell-O. Lots of people get enflamed hemorrhoids, even Robin Olds, and your personal hero, Doug Masters.
Okay. I may have made that up about Doug Masters.
What did I say?
You mentioned being held up on a medical issue when arriving to a new squadron, but you didn't want to talk about it.

Totally agree! Hearing that, not only do they have parity, but in some situations, they are even ahead of us, is just a nightmare come true....
Is he called Flounder because he sounds so flat?
It's why we stopped building the F-22 and moved to hypersonics and Space Force vehicles.
