  • Hari Om!
Verse 8 (continued): Discussion on Dharma continues as Swāmī Aparājitānanda ji considers what is the base for eternal values and examines Dharma from Absolute standpoint with respect to a thing, human being, the vision this Knowledge brings and cosmic balance. BEST WAY TO DO DHARMA SANSTHĀPANA AND DESTRUCTION OF ADHARMA is to promote Self Knowledge either by teachings or by punishing.
Verse 9: Main topic of this chapter unfolds on a very strange notion, viz. whoever knows Lord's janma or karma as divine, becomes one with Lord. This is wonderfully explored keeping Mahāvakya equation JĪVA = BRAHMAN in the centre.
Verse 10: The question: IS THERE ANY SUCH PERSON IN REALITY? is answered simply and directly. In this context, the term MANMAYA is beautifully defined and process of becoming one with Lord's nature through Purity and Knowledge is described.
Verse 11: 'WHY SUCH IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE IS NOT GIVEN TO ALL?' is discussed. Lord blesses people as per their needs, relationship and stage of evolution. That all have to follow the Spiritual Path at the end is wonderfully simplified.
Verse 12: WHY VERY FEW PEOPLE SEEK THIS KNOWLEDGE? is explained in detail comparing worldly and Divine knowledge with respect to vision, result, discipline involved, availability and readiness to sacrifice.
Swāmījī quotes Yamarāja from Kathopanishad describing two paths - path of the pleasant and that of the Good.
