Oh I did know this was a Chinese Anime. It’s been done so beautifully and basically perfectly in the anime style. There are only a few tiny bits that give it away with not being actually from Japan. It could be perhaps the hair or the mannerisms of the characters. I’ll have to check it out.
@@jojujj yep, unfortunately japanese is very nationalistic and chinese op/ed will turn them away. Almost all chinese shows had to rerecord op/ed when entering japan market. Just off the top of my head I can instantly name 魔道祖师，B.E.E.，一人之下，银之守墓人，从前有座灵剑山 etc.
@@missplainjane3905 that is true, but I think the point they were trying to make was that most of it was created by chinese (directed, written, voice-acted, many chinese animators as well.) Not to discredit the Korean and Japanese staff members, but it was indeed a product made in China.
As a Chinese, I confess that the plot of this animation is very touching. This Japanese,the CV is very professional. The success depends on the quality of the translation.
The most exciting thing for me is not just the fact that I can re-watch the whole thing again but it is the fact that now more people from Japan and even across the world can know this donghua more and fell in love with it using the fame of Japanese anime productions. I am really looking forward to the day when people will be busily amazed and keep on praising the anime such that it went viral in the internet. I am glad that I have decided to watch this masterpiece as well. One of the best decisions I have even made. So for the friends that have read my comment, pls pls pls watch it! Just give 25 mins to watch the first episode! U will eventually bang your head wanting the next episode to be out. I promise. First time commenting in RUclips btw. Thanks for reading~

Its amazing that the characters still sounds the same in Japanese dub. Also I'm hearing voice acting thats half way between Kaguya and Paimon....looking forward to rewatching this!
This donghua was one of the best shows I’ve seen this year, and I’m excited to rewatch it in Japanese!! I hope they keep the original OP/ED tho, they’re iconic.

both opening and ending will use the same with Ch original but in japanese OMG!!!!!! They also re-arranged the ed which is kinda give a different vibe compare to the original, even tho i still like the original one more but the in jp dub is also a nice touch to me, can't wait to see the op 🥰 it's feel amazing that I can understand and regonize almost every line in the trailer where they're from lol
It’s top 30 now it’s ranked #25 I might watch it cause I usually watch their top 1000 anime’s unless someone can find me some of the underrated hidden gems

i loved the chinese voices and the original voices, but the japanese dub sounds pretty good too! The voice quality of the dub voices really portray the characters well. Seems like they choose fitting voice actors/actresses for sure
I'm just happy that they just re-did the OP and ED instead of taking them out. That's my concern about the JP dub tbh. Might watch the JP dub once it's up

@@gameking1168 the original version is definitely superior. i find translated version of songs specially ones with raps usually very awkward but the flow in this one seems good enough. i guess we'll find out how good it actually is when the full song drops
