Hi JT, I love everything about Deshler it has the best sounding diamonds on the railriad! Its just an awesome rail town. The caboose is beautiful a really good job at restoring it, i love the blue colour. I do love a coke train though! we dont see them in UK sadly. ❤😊👍
Hey, Jaw Tooth. I got some good news. In less than 11 hours, I will be in the air flying on my move back to Pennsylvania. Sad part that this move is a happy and sad move. I am happy to be with friends but sad that my wife will not be with me since she passed away in August. I am going to see what next summer brings and will see if I can do it and make arrangements to get together with you and others to catch trains and meet. Take care, Robert.
Something I started doing a few weeks ago is to keep a log of the trains number. Either NS OR CSX. I have only saw 2 from CSX repeated and both were with a different 2nd or 3rd engine! Just something I like to do!
That Family Lines/CSX Car at the end of the KCS train is older (probably prior to 1983). TY these trains were great. TY for touring the town a little for us as well. Love seeing Mrs JT and Live Action Pets. Your "AW Shucks" is always perfectly timed to your music.
Thank you for wonderful videos. Impressive variety of trains and engine liveries. Sad dont seem to see many trains going north on Toledo these days. Impressive coke train with Coke express wagons. Thank you.
Thank you for this wonderful video of trains that you saw at Deshler, Ohio on 10 October 2024, Jaw Tooth! The long eastbound double stack train followed by the westbound coke train was a wonderful way to end the train portion of this video. (Posted on 30 October 2024 at 1354.)
Awesome videos, thank you, Jawtooth. Awesome trains-looooong trains, but love the Orange and Black “Shorty” BNSF. Loved the live pet action at the end. I love your dogs unique coats. Reminds me of my “Brindle” coat Akita’s. Always enjoy your video, thanks.
Deshlers Dozens. They just keep on coming. High axle counts on intermodall trains actually can happen very easily With the articulated Well cars especially the five packs. A good General Freight perhaps including the car of Jason's Michigan Smart siding. @3:22. KCS Steers the phosphate empties back towards Florida and the Steel Mill furnaces can keep on producing With all that Coke In the mega size train. Nice work on the B&O caboose restoration. It's never dull at Deshler
What an incredible blessing those two trains were - one ends and in perfect rhythm, the coke train appears. Fabulous! Great vid,JT! I love your channel!!
Love that clickety-clack @ the diamond 💎 @ Deshler, Ohio. Looks like you have the perfect 😊 day to film 🎥 🎞 Great weather, thanks J.T for sharing your railroad adventure 😀
Good morning Brian and rail fans, I’d love to know what a switcher and a high hood is. Thanks for the fun commentary Jaw Tooth, have a great day everyone.
Good morning Jawtooth! You said you lived in Loveland next to tracks. You must be familiar with the Loveland Castle ?. I visited it twice growing up in Cincinnati. I see info that shows it grew quite large. Have a great day! Thanks
Deshler Ohio diamond needs "raised flange diamond'. You talked about the raised flange and it really is clever besides snuffing noise and saving on wear and tear. Those crossings soundsed loud on video and I imagine crossings of the diamond are heard from miles away.
Lots of great places on your travels lots of fantastic catches thanks for sharing with us.👍👍 Have a great rest of your day JawTooth and week keep enjoying those sweet catches
Wow great captures there bud, beautiful vintage carriage, 👌 👏 a couple of long beasts there, and the noise crossing the diamond 💎 very cool 😎, great watch, enjoyed that bud,
Another awesome video JT and as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one and I hope you have another good one for us tomorrow
Thanks Mark! I appreciate your support. I’m at Kenova West Virginia right now and I got some good trains here. I’m going to get one in the dark before I leave. Thanks again for your support and there is a train approaching at this minute!😮🎉
That is an interesting location because many trains use the connecting tracks, even though they have to travel at 10 mph while rounding them. I don't recall seeing a train crossing the diamonds on the single track line in anyone's video. I believe that it is possible to tell the state of the economy from the intermodal trains. If you see a long, fully loaded, intermodal train, things are going well.
Great to see you in Deshler one of my favorite places to watch trains on Virtual Railfan this is a great area especially with the RR diamonds i really like this area and my favorite part was seeing the long train with the DPU'S, also liked seeing the caboose in the park as well as of course the magnificent live action super pets dogs and cats with the music video slide have a wonderful Halloween and thank you again for the great train footage Jaw Tooth.🚂🚃🎃🚃👻🇺🇲
Its so strange how the red flashing light phase out in the video. Its like when you see a helicopter flying and the blades seem to stand still, the exposure matches the RPM of the rotors causing the effect. Must be soft of the same thing, where the exposure matches when the lights are off, causing them to appear as they are not flashing.. Another example is when you see L.E.D. car headlight strobbing in videos. Great vid, some nice catches today as always... Be Crazy!!!!
You bet! Thank you for the Super Thanks! I really appreciate it and it will help a lot. I will use that for gas in my truck on my next trip. Thanks for your support!
hay do you happen to remember the logo that was a red bird on the containers? I cannot remember the company’s name? do you happen to remember who was the co. and it’s name?? nice catches that is a great spot to train watch!
I thought a caboose was supposed to have the thing in the middle that is higher than the rest of it so that they can see the top of the train. I think it might be called a cupola.
I've noticed in some of your videos and videos of some of the other guys that record around you, that the dpus, on some of the trains are facing backwards for the most part, is there any particular reason why?
I discovered that is a city in Ohio called Lakewood Ohio Norfolk Southern railroad goes through Lakewood Ohio I'm not sure what district goes through that area
Hey jaw tooth i have a favor to ask my wife and i watch your videos religiously would you be able to give her a shout out, like can you say "but wait there's more diana p" thanks it would mean the world to me.
Brian all the trains that you tape are SIMPLY GREAT! Thanks for the for the fine work. Keep them coming down the track!!!
KCS coming around the curve from the grass and tree area is the best shot ever.
Really enjoyed this video, Brian! I was in Deshler back in July of this year. A really nice town for train activity! 🤠🚂
Hey Jaw tooth my bday was September 22, and I was 79. I watch all of your videos and really enjoy them.

I can see why you picked Deshler. There is so much going on there. Trains don't really go thru here that much. Very awesome live action, Brian.
