  • Imagine trading the clamor of Wall Street for the serene whispers of a church; this is the life of Father Dan Reehil, who joins us to unravel the tapestry of his extraordinary call to priesthood.
    Through the lens of Father Dan's story, we glimpse the rigorous discipline of exorcism and deliverance ministry training in Rome and the transformative role these practices have played in his pastoral mission. His commitment to spiritual exercises offers a deeper understanding of how personal faith practices can sculpt one's service to the church. Moreover, the conversation invites us to reflect on the quiet grace of saints like St. Joseph, emphasizing the essence of humility and how it weaves through the fabric of our spiritual lives.

      after 25 years, I woke up last Easter morning and felt the pull, if you're thinking about it, Jesus is calling you, don't resist him, it was the best thing could have happened to me and I haven't looked back , staying away from God is like staying away from the hospital when sick, madness, good luck and God bless you !

    Heard Fr. Dan before. He is an amazing priest. We need more priests like him He experienced life in the secular world and had a major conversion back to the Catholic Faith, subsequently, toward a vocation to the priesthood. Father Dan is always being "affected" by demons. Pray for him. St. Padre Pio protect Fr. Dan.

Very good questions too especially about discernment. I'm glad these were asked and answered. God bless!

    While trying to pray - I get all kinds of crap floating through my brain. I'm lucky to get through an Our Father without interruption. Am I possessed, I'd say no as I wear a rosary often(I find them beautiful and I feel safe when wearing one under my shirt). Afflicted and oppressed most certainly. If you would, say a prayer for Darbs.
    And no, I'm not Catholic however I've been almost obsessed with Catholicism the past year or so

    • @lifesong8484
      @lifesong8484 2 месяца назад

      Whether or not you can wear rosary beads isn't a good determining factor as to what level of demonic affliction you may be under. Are you able to actually pray the Rosary? Not just say the words, but actually pray it prayerfully? Demons would find this a lot more tormenting than just the person wearing rosary beads. Also, it can depend on the demon as to how much they can put up with without manifesting themselves.

      @@lifesong8484 Difficult for me to finish any prayer with all the random stuff that floats through my conscious while attempting to do so. Only validly ordained priests can do it and it's a Sacrament, because Jesus gave this mission and power to his apostles and their successors, obviously they acts in "Persona Christi", read John 20, 20-23 :" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
      21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
