Red had the battle planed right from the start. Darkrai was the bane to Red's Pokemon team and his biggest obstacle to take out. As Pikachu was a glass cannon, Red made a great choice sacrificing Pikachu while doing a good amount of damage on Darkrai. After Darkrai was down, all Red had to do to make good choices on taking down the rest of Tobias' Pokemon team. Despite Tobias' great efforts, Red was calm, cool, and collected, and that gave Red the advantage over Tobias. In the end, Red's well trained Pokemon and wise decisions gave him the well-earned victory he worked hard for. It just shows that physical strength alone will make you a glass cannon in average and Tobias' loss to Red proves my point.
Ash's Legendary Team: - Pikachu(His Pikachu is a Legendary come on now) - Naganadel - Ho-Oh(Series Finale spoiler) - Solgaleo - Latias - Mega-Gengar Red's Legendary Team: - Pika (Has Speed Boost and Pika vs Pikachu can open) - Mega Mewtwo Y or X - Moltres - Suicune - Lugia - Mew Red wins. Mega Mewtwo Y alone destroys most of Ash's team with maybe Ho-Oh posing a problem despite it's speed in comparison and I mean the manga Red the True OG Red and not Origins Red or the Gen 3 one. Red caught all 151 Pokemon plus more as well as had Pokemon that were all Level 255. Ash stands no chance after knocking out Leon's Lv. 80 Charizard that Red's Mons even his Pikachu would of eaten for Breakfast. The original Red or the nameless Protagonist from Gen 1 otherwise known as PLAYER in my eyes is the same as The Manga Red and the true story of Pokemon. Ash is the secondary canon because the original manga told a much grittier and accurate portrayal of the Pokemon World but Pokemon is a kids show after all.

Well technically ik 4 out of 6 mons tobias has In the sinnoh leaque victory open Ash Pikachu was battling Darkrai it allso shows Entei and Lucario alongside Darkrai far as Tobias last 2 mons go I think it could be sucuine an raikou because it feel weird for him to have Entei and not the other 2 and Tobias looks like the type of guy who wants a complete set

Of course Red has to win like always...no matter what....! Out of all the legendaries available, u had gave him regigigas (one of the weakest in games). Even average pokemon can defeat it.
He had 2 legendaries, so for consistency sake, we can assume he has more And considering the world wasn't destroyed, we know he doesn't have important legendary pokemon
